Gusto was telling people back in October to ignore posters who aren't invested. And he used a very rude word to describe them. The word ' hypocrite ' comes to mind.

Anyway, he's filtered now. It's obvious he's a trader based on his previous posts.

As you say, there was no mention of the excess wellbore pressure in the last RNS. Fingers crossed then that the current wellhead can cope. If so, then it's just the cheap fix of the sandscreens.

Just bear in mind that even during covid with the borders shut and the company burning up what money it had the share price still went up from 2.5p to 4.6p in that terrible year. And in subsequent years it has never failed to hit at least 5p at some point in the year - in fact a 7p peak in 2023.

Thornogson ; by the way, as far as I am aware there are no MATD shares available to be borrowed. The banks behind the brokers often don't allow this with microcaps as it's too much of a risk for them - it's exactly the same with US microcaps.

So any shorting would have to be via derivatives such as CFDs.

StockMaiden filtered now - I've just dismissed him as another nutter on here along with Gusto and Espen.

The - Lockie ; the sharp share price fall since its peak in May simply reflects the sharp sell of the AIM index itself, which has dragged down shares on AIM right across the board. Last year was not a good year for the index as a whole.

And if you check out charts for a sample load of oil and gas companies listed on AIM you will find that nearly all of them have had the same sharp decline since early summer last year. So this is not specific to MATD despite the manic efforts of the derampers to make it sound as though MATD is an unusual case. They are so fixated on trashing MATD that they probably have no idea about the index, and have never bothered to spend an hour or so looking at sample charts for a range of AIM oil and gas companies going back over one year.

I'm copying a comment made on Trustpilot dated 01/07/20 about LSE and MATD during the height of covid. Well, since that comment was made 4.5 years ago now the company hasn't gone bust, and in every year since 2020 the share price has hit at least 5p, with a 7p peak in 2023....I wonder if they complained when it hit 7p ?

Doc ; you aren't invested most likely, and you're not fooling anyone. Or you're a trader talking nonsense about ' the spicy part' of your portfolio. If that was the case you would look to see how it was going every few days or even weeks. And it wouldn't matter so much to you.

WOS : I can't figure Doc out. If it's just the 'spicy ' almost fun part of his portfolio then he would have known that it would involve share price volatility. So why obsess about the share price every day and obsess about every single buy and sell with what is anyway a normally ultra low volume share ?

Manx : just as that prolonged sideways price action prior to the mid November drop was very likely a distribution phase just before the winter shut down, so I suspect that the current sideways price action is the direct opposite accumulation phase as we start the lead up to the winter hiatus ending.

TT1981 : to take one example, a while ago Doc posted that PM was just a ' spicy ' small part of his portfolio, and it wouldn't affect him if he lost the money he invested in it.

Yet he is here every single day, obsessively noting every single but and sell, and pouring out nothing but cynicism about the company and its prospects.

If MATD is just a small, almost for fun part of his portfolio ( as the Naked Investor would call it ) then why doesn't he just check I'm every few days or weeks to see how it is going ? It makes no sense, so makes me wonder what his true interest is in this company.

And it would make total sense for Petrovis to do a JV for Heron. MATD after all is described on the Petrovis website as a subsidiary of its company, which is more than just a partner.

That point that Velo made.about takeover manipulation might be a real factor.

The financial press at the end of last year were speculating that about a third of all AIM companies may be subject to takeovers in 2025. The weakness in the index since May last year has made AIM listed companies vulnerable to foreign takeovers.

PM's decline in the share price since May simply reflects the index and the AIM O&G sector generally in the second half of last year. It hasn't been company specific at all.

StockMaiden : judging by the prices that you said you have bought this share at, my average is a hell of a lot lower. In fact I have bought on more than one raise mainly.

Not sure if you are holding now - if you sold then you must have sold at quite a loss.

I suspect that you are still holding however, in which case it's a bit daft to make snide remarks concerning the timing and judgement of people who very likely have a much lower average than you.
