£ 9 .78 for me please

It’s reassuring reading what others have done; I didn’t throw everything at RR in the beginning – I’ve worked dammed hard for my money and couldn’t take the risk . Risk is an important word – we all have a different appetite for risk. As the stock increased in price – I took out my initial investment (starting at around the £5 mark) and spread it across other stock . In hindsight I could now just be a millionaire with RR– had I done everything perfect; but risk and worry of losing everything I’ve worked for cut in. As it stands I’m half way there – which for my nervous state of mind, and low appetite for risk – suits me fine. I’ve now enough to get away from the neighbour who screams yes yes yes at her husband every night (although now it’s turned into‘you don’t f___ love me anymore') – I think the chap is worn out. I'll still have enough for a nice pension pot too, and some left over for a Triumph Herald. Risk and Hindsight are two strange things. Roll on £12

im not having a go when i say ,,,, i expect many have thought the same; including myself when it got passed £3.50,,,, but then you have to think – what/where would you do with the money ? why would you sell when so much is on the order book? share buy back will push up the price ? are you expecting the price to crash? ,, etc.

i sold a small chunk at £4+ just to diversify and buy a range of 'cheap at the time' divi paying stock (mng etc) , it eased simalier fears.

with the share buy back ; (i’m suspecting ) £12 is a good target price, but then considering how much other defence stocks have gone up in the last 3 years (bab****s and bae etc), and a full order book , more than £12 should be possible.

each to their own, and what ever you need the money for :)

Cheers, makes sense - looking at the quantities - sometime it's less than a hand full of shares. somebody has a wonderful job - just sat buying all day long ; My other half does a similar job- but on amazon , temu , costs me a packet LOL

@park-life, it was satire when I joined 20yrs ago :) 

Sorry if this is a stupid/simple question; but - why are RR buying back their own shares in dribs and drabs over the duration of the day, and why differing amounts each day (as apposed to just buying a set chunk at the start of each day). Just curious

being a bit hungover this morning, i almost forgot about the share consolidation ; checking the price - i almost told my manger to do one,,,, thank the lord - my ****-simpson brain couldnt remmeber his extention number lol

I thought divi day was monday too, but my HSBC account says the money has gone in (I don't understand it either, but its no mistake on my part) :)

Check your accounts - Divi's should be in. I got mine , works out about 7% yeeeepeeeeeeeeeeee

@Sparkythecat, agreed. I too thought he was taking the p__ when he first showed up here, and then reading his posts often - I now think he is just plain bonkers. - I've tried my best with him. but concur you are correct Cheers fella, I appreciate it :)

Tim Smith12, I write this with a warm compassionate tone, with no malice or intent to harm you. I just want to inform you that you are trapped in the ‘bonkers doom loop world’. This is a place were sane people are repelled by you, yet more bonkers people are attracted to you (since you seem sane to them). Unfortunately it’s a doom loop, since you’ll get more and more bonkers the longer you stay in that world ; attracting bonkers people , while repelling sane people. To the point that you normalise bonkers-ness.

I’ve seen it often with younger people, and their life spirals downward. The trick to escape it , is to keep your mouth shout and your eyes and ears open - and utilise the brain., With that - you might attract sane peoples company and re-calibrate to normality. I don’t write this with harm - merely with the aim to help you .
