@retirement. I did similar. RR is great - but too many eggs in one basket.

Another one is ABDN, they have learnt from their mistake and replaced the vowels in their name LOL and things have improved for them DYOR

For growth – I’ve bagged an ETF – GDGB - gold miners – to offer some diversification. Also VFEM – emerging markets. and finally an all would high-yeild ETF (only in small amounts)

But again DYOR :)

I follow what central banks are doing - which is buying gold. 'currency' only needs to be partly backed by gold to hold its value - old coins were not 100% silver or 100% gold. BRICS nations & China have started settling in Gold. Silver is being added to the American list of Critical Minerals. Silver supplies have been depleted faster than they have been mined over recent years.

It may be old fashion, but it’s a wonderful store of wealth. Over the last 25 years , gold , has outperformed the SNP500 and my house price.

I don’t mind being old fashioned with 10% of my portfolio.

I dont care if this drops on opening now - those results are great, and as such having shares in such a wonderful company will pay dividends further down the line. I hope the profit it put to good use within the company and not paid as a divi to share holders. I invested in Rolls because its British excellence and I'd like to see it grow and grow. If I need the money - I could always sell some stock. Well done Rolls

If things go well, I'll be selling all my ISA and start buying my next house (in cash) - So that I don’t have to race out of this one and into the next one a single day (decanting from one to the other is soooo much easier) . I’m not talking mansions here – obviously
