@retirment , do you remember me and CEV chatting with you after Trump day , I made a profit during that trump thing - because i saw the writing and sold immediately, buying back a couple of days later. As i said at the time - you need to prepare a plan and targets - what to do in such events - this is again one of those events. Cev is cold headed and doesn’t relay on emotion (like badlands) - make a decision . male a plan, set targets and follow them :) Good luck

Spent all day watching - wondering if I'd done the right thing pulling me money (which I need soon)- I was almost gonna jump back in for a bit more profit - but chose an ETF instead. What a loopy loop day. GLA for tomorrow

Yes you are doing the wrong thing , you should be stacking silver instead LOL. Hey if central banks are buying it , and JP Morgan is advising its clients to hold some - then it sounds good to me - I’ve a few in my brothers safe ;)

@ retirement , What worries me - and I am a worrier, in no particular order

1. The repro market between banks is faulting (like in 2007)

2. Banks arnt trusting each other again (like in 2007)

3. The huge margin taken out on AI stocks and Crypto – if a fall starts – then margin calls will be made

4. The price of commodities is sky rocketing – just look at silver ; which is used extensively in Nuclear reactor cores

5. Silver has been added to the US critical minerals list , India and china are filling their boots at a time when the world has a shortage.

6. Trumps . Westinghouse are not happy that the UK selected RR for the new SMR in Wales (don’t know what affect this might have if any –to be fare)

7. The fed is printing money again

8. Our own UK economy is pitiful

9. Even JP Morgan are advising investors to hold a percentage gold - very unusal advice.

I proberbly just need to chill and have a holiday, but cant help but see so many issues which are not RR fault – but my affect it and the wider economy / stock market .

I thought I might be eating some humble pie today, but believe me I’m not here to gloat at selling my ISA chunk yesterday - since I still have a shed load outside my ISA. I need the cash for a purchase so secured it by selling – and with the dark clouds over the economy (US , UK , World etc)

Its time for wealth preservation NOT generation.

RR is fantastic and in such a strong position – BUT when the tide changes – all boats fall. I hope we get to £12 by xmas (I’ve still got a chunk) ; but I fear we are heading lower.

Sold Value £107.75m , Bought Value £147.86m - so it may be up tomorrow. :)

I sold off all in my ISA this morning, I think the issues are more than just the AI bubble fears; reading news papers etc - seems the bond market is heading bad again, not just in the UK but also Japan, added to that; one article stated that banks are starting to fear loaning to each other over night . I'm a worrying investing so thought it best to just remove my ISA wad. worse case I lose some gains if all turns out ok. I need the money shortly so can't risk it.

Still got a pile in a non- isa account – removing it would trigger tax - damn

Everything is as twitchy as a rabbits nose. I was going to pull some money last week at the high - for my new house - but couldn’t log on to my account - I feel I'll be taking a loss if I pull today. I rang HSBC yesterday and asked - what would happen to my shares if HSBC went bust (bit dramatic0 ; they are held by HSBC in euroclear- The young lad on the phone (very helpful) explained that the records would be sent to euroclear to have them put in my name -phew

The whole market (FTSE) down. some strong days last week followed by some weak days , such is life ::(

@retirment , its cool mate. Just remember Cev left school with ONLY a CSE 4 in woodwork - it was the Army that sorted him out and made him focus. Each to their own - I can always understand most things written on here - and don't expect it to be written perfect - its a chat forum :) good luck all
