Two new contracts announced in quick succession and still the SP is 20% lower than its recent high. Why is that?

The number of shares is irrelevant. If I have one share, I am a shareholder and the company has an obligation to keep me informed and not to withhold important information because it suits.

I'm not complaining about the company getting two sales in three days, just trying to explain why the market is behaving in the way it is. IMO, they should provide TUs consistently.

I believe that the reaction is partly down to the missing trading update. You can't cherry pick the bits of news that you want to report. Investors are tired of being played by this lot and need to have as much information as possible - warts and all.

Funnily enough, I was going to post this morning that Cyan could do with a series of RNSs to get this SP kick-started again and lo and behold, what have we got.

A very interesting development.

It seems that the market isn't interested in today's news, which suggests that "some really exciting news" is definitely required. The SP is still down 30%, compared to the price immediately after the recent fundraise.

How much lower would the SP be if they had stuck to their policy of releasing quarterly trading updates, instead of hiding behind Hardman & Co's paid thoughts.

Pressure is off now.
£3M in the bank, so back to soft-pedaling until the next cash crisis looms or they decide to hang their boots up. Really disappointing.

12 days since that 'order' was announced and the SP has plunged 15% in that short time. Why do you think that is?

MEA hasn't given Cyan a contract.

Cyan's contract is with JST (i.e. one of its major shareholders). It must be nice being able to drip feed the market with new contract news as and when it's required, to try and stop the SP from dropping.

This 'start up' has been going nearly 20 years now. Has it been developing the wrong product for wrong market?

The next India contract needs to be a whopper or it's curtains.

Has anyone, anywhere actually won a substantial contract?

I'd be really happy with 2/3 of that. Been a supporter for too long to worry about HK moving on (I'd be happy to watch young Parrot and Scarlett being given a chance). Still celebrating the removal of JM.
I've got them at 50-1 E/W to win PL.

If people were to look at the news and put all the pieces together, investing in Cyan would look like a no-brainer. However, none of the recent information is reliable, which explains why there is no demand for the shares (e.g. not a single share changing hands today so far).
Until Cyan can show that they're not effing about and actually nail down some decent sized contracts (i.e. not more 30,000 unit ones), nothing will change here.
