If my memory serves me at all, this time last year the commentary was building up towards the expectation of mining to start at the end of 2017 and announcement of the starting gun in about June. As we know, any hope in 2017 was punted downfield with the revised expectation of H1 2018 and then PAM allowing for a 6 month review which when adding a review to the review, looked to make even H1 a bit optimistic. This seems to have already been allowed for with what seems to have been now accepted by the company, with it slipping into H2. That's the history. In the run up to June, I hope history doesn't look to repeat itself.

I would agree at the moment, but each project is a separate part of the whole and each project is moving along its development curve, one quickly, one slowly and one glacially with potential to speed up once the correct gear is found. With three good looking projects, I think DA is looking forward to bringing them into production and realising fuller valuations. Appreciate the advantage of a speedy increase to the resource and that there has been an indication of around the 20 level... But. Remember history, DA also likes to surprise. Ice's numbers would surely seem feasible given continued drilling over the year. I think that the target would be greater than the indication and it will depend on how much can be squeezed into the estimate quickly. In Finland, the initial work seemed to be ever delayed but they ended coming back having completed far more scrapings than we originally knew about. In Moz, pretty similar. In Oman, well, who knows, they will let us know when they are ready to play. I suspect that 25 sounds a nice round number, up a bit on indication, and maybe achieve able reasonably quickly with the 90m depth and higher grades. It may help to make that statement of arrival if it was needed.

It's not as if the future increase to the JORC is not in lights for all to see. Today's news is excellent and with the expectation of a good increase to be confirmed in May, no one can say that they have not been warned. Finding out that you had not heard about it is a different issue. And it's not just about the existing Grandeo, or its extension, or the initial forays into the new bits and Reservatorio, but this existing mining licence only covers a small fraction of tenements held, especially nearby Reigoso, helping expand things further. It's like getting tickets for Glasonbury, it's going to happen, just not sure who might be headlining, or what they will play, and then finding it goes on and on for longer than 4 days, and that your ticket is still valid and upgraded.

CM, to be fair though, a company actually receives the funding money that they need from a placing, at a time of their choosing. Buying chunks in the market that the company has no benefit, at a time of your choosing and possibly smaller granular amounts, is likely to be at a premium, or at least not at a small discount. 50 go of say Turmeric from ASDA costs far more per gram than a 1kg bag from an Indian supermarket.

The sp might have dipped a little over the day but generally a positive response. No one has moaned about the pricing of he placing, realising that it was effectively at the current market price. There wasn't any warrants to moan about. Some comment wondering as to the size of the placing in that it was relatively small but that is a toss that could be argued.
