By contrast, not sure that much is written in to SAV sp as far as Oman is concerned. Any rns on Oman seemed to almost have a negative impact and as was detailed the other week, people like Trisse discounted Oman completely in any current valuation, but looked forward to a pleasant surprise when the go ahead was/is given. Hopefully this dam is beginning to break.

Sipp is basically IHT and CGT free within the pension wrapper ISA are income tax and CGT free but liable for IHT (not between spouses) on death, unless using Aim shares. Held separately, liable to income tax (no dividend currently), CGT in excess of allowance and IHT. But any losses can be carried forward so there's a plus.

I understand the the Stuttgart exchange acts like some sort of leach or cuckoo, just claiming that companies are registered on their market. No formal application has ever been made for them to be registered there. I have recently been doing a bit of digging here as AIM shares can be IHT free after holding them for two years. However the company cannot have dual listing and needs to be productive. Hopefully we should be producing shortly rather than prospective and exploratory, but I am checking on the dual listing issue.

In the last interview, DA was asked about Oman and his response hinted at what they must be thinking as he almost chuckled that everyone was waiting for news. Can't see PAM acting independently prior to the final decisions being signed off higher up and meanwhile all is being held up with what to my mind look like patently fatuous excuses - ministry of housing, really? If we accept it is not of SAVs making, then the question is whether it is costing vast fortunes to simply keep things treading water whilst waiting. Not much point worrying about how much has been spent getting to this point and ongoing fixed costs are unlikely to be that great, and covered by the general rise in Cu prices.

Hi, no numbers as yet. Hatch in process of doing scoping study, due out towards end of this month. General comment from co is that infrastructure is good, well made euro roads about 6 miles away and port not that far away, with power supplies that run through the tenement (may need moving indeed). Fundamentally a basic mining model, at/ from surface, low strip and by all accounts low impurity, so should be ok. But hey, I'm no miner, analyst or specialist. Barrosa may have the mining licence currently, but the whole area is pregnant with pegmatites and SAV has other local areas to explore, expand and develop eg nearby Regioso. Can't see them sitting on this for any longer than they need to on this as it would be complementary and increase SAV's eu presence and importance at a stroke.

First deal maybe with Canadian supply, but SAV heading to being the first EU supply of any significance, and it will of course down to EU based companies to look at this possible supply option or not. Much the same as SAV might look at nonEU buyers. The eu timing for them to stop gassing and deliver their recommendation is next Feb which is about when SAV are due to make decisions as well. Hopefully next week will follow through with last week's pressure.

Have I missed something? It says that the mining licence had been approved for Maquail South in March. I know that we have been told that all 8 no objections had been received, and that it was in for final approval, but I must have missed something (or not). Meanwhile we just wait on housing at Mahab. Still.
