CM! Thanks. My understanding is that just because a share is on AIM, it is not an automatic given that all shares qualify for IHt relief. Mining is one of those areas and I suppose that the criteria is relatively understandable based on the general requirement that it needs to be a trading company to qualify for BPR. So far as it is now, SAV I do not believe would qualify as it is currently an exploration and development company with assets, but as yet is not actually mining and therefore income producing. This is the first criteria that I think they fail on. I also understand that the company can only be quoted on the one exchange, Ie. AIM and as it stands they seem to have been cuckoo'd by the German exchange without SAV's specific agreement, so I am not sure that this counts as yet - something I am looking into. However the DE article seemed to imply that they may be looking at other European bourses as well (might that have meant a splitting up of the assets) but it might prevent any IHT benefits accruing. Fear not though, not all is lost as any shares held within a pension wrapper SIPP/SSAS would be IHT free anyway, so,it is only the shares held directly or via an ISA wrapper that are a potential concern. I am also trying to establish whether it is us holding the shares for two years that is the trigger point or the company qualifying for BPR that triggers the start of the two year clock, and also whether it relates to the whole or only the bit that is actually trading. It's not clear cut which doesn't help with planning. The roll mop referred back to smorgasbord, though with your detailed understanding of a Norwegian spread, maybe pickled herring do not appear as a constituent part. Confirms my lack of education.

Yes, there would seem to be more buying than selling as crumbs from numerous smaller sells are amalgamated together for a reasonable parcel for a buyer. The you have the equally intriguing thought that these bigger parcels may be for just one buyer, looking to stitch together a holding and shows the work involved as time goes by.

Ultimately we can think even wider. You have mentioned areas within the current mining licence. This needs to be increased from its current cap but fortunately the Portuguese gov is a supportive party, so one might hope this should be granted. Thereafter there are other areas with tremendous potential just waiting for further exploration and future development eg Reigoso, nearby, that currently is not under any mining licence, but hopefully will be soon. Portugal are due to go to tender in June are they not. We are already there. Like Usain Bolt being given a head start. Grasping the conceptual size of what our assets in Portugal could develop into could be regarded as flight of fancy stuff. Portugal is about to put its stamp on being a, if not the prime European lithium cradle for a nascent European battery industry. Feels good to be long as a shareholder, and that's not to discount Oman or the Monster of Mozambique.

All very granular today. Average trade so far about 22500 shares/�2k value, with only one trade into 6 figure, just, and that was a sell. Looks like the regular buyer has gone off early for the weekend to refresh before a busy week or two ahead.

To lift the sp. barely a million shares traded. We might be over the 50 mcap, but that will not be the only criteria preventing mandated ii's. They may need scoping studies (as iceberg dea tile earlier), mining licences issued and in hand, details of the financials etc etc. So when these are available, then they may be able to press the buy buttons. I don't think they will be looking for the odd 25k parcel. Plenty of upside here I would suggest.
