It's not that I have given up on the Omanis, but have accepted a while ago that they will just do things in their own time to suit themselves. It's not a problem. Almost likewise with any country and I noted a small bit n the article "Has the Portuguese fisherman, who failed to hook a fish in two hours, wasted his time?". I would say not, he is just two hours nearer to catching his next one, but he has to be giving himself an opportunity to actually catch a fish, by sitting there with his pole. If he is doing something else, he has no chance, much like not buying a lottery ticket.
It was Portugal that I am considering rather than Oman, and with a generally Western, albeit Southern Europe
Attitude, but in an industry that they are keen to promote, I would expect them to be a little more conscious of the clock. Do they not link to GMT as well.
