Tf you have not actually read what Konar said ,... he actually stating that Scancell will at the next AGM move all the Goal posts, considering we have just had an update to state the goal posts. Why would you consider the BOD will change course in less than 4 weeks between notices. ?

You cannot open to world markets while attached to the EU regulatory alignment, its means every part of the uk economy is subject to EU law rather than just the exporters to the EU, it all means that in any discovery made by our universities, the EU in effect can regulate the development of that patent to protect its own single market

Abstract
While tumor immunotherapy has seen notable success in recent years, mechanisms that tumors utilize to escape immune responses have provided significant hurdles to maximal clinical benefit. Escape mechanisms such as antigen loss, decreased MHC expression, as well as tumor-mediated suppressive effects on antitumor immune responses, can cause the most potent antitumor immune response to be rendered powerless at the tumor site. In this study, the authors show that the adoptive transfer of tumor antigen-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells combined with tumor cell immunization can elicit regression of established subcutaneous tumors in lymphopenic, but not lymphoreplete, animals. However, using a suboptimal dose of transferred cells followed by vaccination, the authors identify the development of recurrent tumors with reduced antigen expression. These tumors could still be eradicated in similarly treated animals; however, they found that transferred CD4+ T cells from animals with recurrent tumors acquired a suppressive phenotype. This work highlights the importance of understanding mechanisms of tumor escape, particularly underscoring the role of the tumor in modulating antigen-specific immune responses, and the critical importance of finding mechanisms to avoid the development of viable escape variants.

hardly silly, The point of any placement is to fund the future growth of the scancell IP which is exactly what they are doing. The sad part is the inability of existing shareholders to wait for that resultant news flow. Scancell raised the money with a clear path of how its going to be spent. Nothing has changed, except we have more going on this year compared with last years run to the AGM, Rhatton after waiting 5 years sells just before we go into the moditope era of trials, unless of course he is trading the share. The SP is what it is .. and Scancell are in the position with £10m in the bank to ride any silly market behaviour, knowing that SCIB1 starts very soon, the collaboration with BioNtech could be the first commercial exposure of moditope to the market, CRUK possibly engaging a 75 patient trial, modi1 hits the clinic, with Modi2 near to been ready for manufacture. Leaving our scientists with a clear run to develop Modi3 in conjunction with CRUK ... not many small bio with that pedigree, so good luck if you do sell scancell, finding a share with that level of potential .. supported by so many third party Scientists

I am sure they will when its all signed off ... but its an Intention as far as we are aware, it becomes a fact once CRUK confirm with the regulator. Scancell has told us that CRUK are signed up to run the trials, clearly now that is becoming a fact , any way the BB has the information now from CRUK so in effect you have the news.

it lends itself to an ongoing trial, but it really depends if they include a control arm and then prove with divergence that scib2 combo shows a major divergence from this "standard of care arm" then potentially you could extend the trial into a phase 3 by increasing the numbers ... However the break point on the agreement is end of the phase 2, so Scancell does have the choice to take back control or let CRUK run through to commercialisation and enjoy the profits ... if it works as expected its a win win what ever happens

well we have not left yet .... and if they start the trial this year it still falls under EU regulations, parliament has already voted to stay in the EMA so i assume its in the withdrawal agreement if they can get that through the HOC. However if the chequers proposal is part of the trading position with this over complicated customs union, I suspect this will not get support. and will be rejected by the ERG. Nobody seems to have a clue now with May's game plan is or she is calling the EU out by stating what will you accept ? you may find the EU is so strangled by its own rules that no deal is possible because of N.Ir.
