Bamps - thanks for mentioning the Schroders policy statement on oil investment and climate change - one of the advfn posts has a direct link to the climate dashboard.

I think it's fair to say that their current attitude may have dissuaded them from considering the CERP opportunity with LK when he joined but they are not panicking to sell - having said that they might take SP strength opportunities to reduce their stake - people on advfn have emailed LK and asked him to address the matter - I've said if they want out a placing to enable it might be the best solution, particularly on the back of a decent drill result ( alternative may be drip drip market overhang ) .

I'd emphasise that the Schroders issue may well turn out to be a huge non issue but it's best to ventilate the subject as it takes away troll food - some have been suggesting Schroders sold because they had adverse info on the drill!

Readers need to read the Schroders climate dashboard comments and make their own minds up - I'm happy to be called a troll for developing this - but it's surely a better class of trolling than we've seen recently!

Irene - 100 bopd at that rate would repay the cost in a lot less than a year.

Irene - 12bn on advfn also claims to filter but can’t resist peeking - no evidence that rossannan peeked but he clearly got frustrated by the number of posters that filtered him as even I was embarrassed for him at the way he pounced on any new posters like the doormen of a strip club ( from what I’ve read haha!)

LayLadyLay is much more sensible and doesn’t filter people but I couldn’t put my hand up to his last question as i believe there would be more selling if that were the case!

I’m not opposed to trolls per se and there are some very talented ones out there - some like rossannan got the switch from arch-ramper to troll right on the last cycle and that added credibility to subsequent posting so I can see why lesser trolls hung on his shirtails !

I know why I post here, largely to support CERP, so no one is surprised to see me ramping and they assess what I say in that context- it’s not clear to me why Irene trolls here - if she shorted at 2.5p that’s not been good for her but I can’t do much to help her out but no need to take it out on posters here - if the drill goes badly she might claw back some losses!

I said duped but perhaps doped might have been more accurate !

Bigwod - where's your sensitivity? - even talking about an example of 20p will further offend troll Irene - bad enough to have her sulking about being duped by rossannan and missing out on the 2.5p opportunity!

Irene - for the avoidance of doubt I’m not blaming anyone for any of my investment decisions but I am highlighting the activity of a poorly researched troll who blatantly deterred investors at 2.5p for reasons he/she can explain but clearly got it wrong based on false information - why would anyone applaud that ?

Irene - I don't disclose my dealings on here and Devonshire Trader is not claiming any knowledge of my affairs so clearly it's more fake news from frustrated Irene . What's not fake is your discouragement of investment along with the other trolls when you could have bought in at 2.5p and sold at close to 5p - why didn't you do that if you claim some insight into CERP trading - why are you here ?

This won’t help the SP but may be the reason for the Schroders sale - The Times reported 26/11/2019 -‘ The collapse of Neil Woodford’s investment empire has drained liquidity from AIM and has made investors wary of thinly traded shares a leading stockbroker has warned.’ ‘ The demise of Mr Woodford’s Equity Income Fund has FORCED investors to buy stakes that the troubled vehicle has had to offload’. ‘ That’s a lot of liquidity already out of the market and firepower has gone, because every holding he had to sell had to be bought by someone’.

Although Schroders may not have held any of the Woodford stocks there is a knock on effect and that can influence fund manager decisions- who knows for sure - Schroders but as someone else said they aren’t likely to make a public announcement beyond the TR1.

I speculate if they had adverse information about the drill the selling would be of greater magnitude.

Fishsheds- have you taken their advice and sold out ?

Irene - the existence of shareholders with an average greater than the current SP doesn’t make me look stupid as I accept there are plenty in that boat - is everyone in that category stupid Irene ?

If those people sold out at 2.5p on fear of it going lower would their position have improved ?- answer NO !

You decided not to buy at 2,5p what is your current advice to these ‘stupid ‘ people and why Irene ?

Fishsheds - are you suggesting Saffron will be a duster - this is the sort of trolling we need whilst the news is awaited - kindly explain your reasons for your belief, if you have any, so that we can all be better informed.

Irene - I remember GS saying it on one of the presentations which were on the CERP website - why not watch them all to find it - could be a good investment of your time - you might then be able to properly assess the merits of this stock on your own rather than relying on rossannan or asking questions which are often moronic!

Wads - fortunately my needs are modest and I can afford a long term view as long as the company is moving in the right direction - if they are reckless with shareholder value - as was Ritson ( ploughing on regardless) shareholders are right to moan on here and more importantly to the NED.

Just bored with the quality of trolling on here - at least rossannan actually came up with, superficially, reasoned arguments - I wonder if he's swapped trolling CERP to work on the SNP election campaign!

Fishsheds - I'm surprised you're not more excited about the prospect of 4p - most people are aware that 4p is an improvement on today's close of 3.325p and that it is a threshold that will need to be breached to get to 5p , 6p etc - all the way to the 12p mentioned by bigwood !

Presumably you have your own idea of the fair value of this share based on current prospects - rossannan thought 2.5p was too high and he influenced the other trolls not to buy at that price - Irene can't get over her disappointment at the subsequent rise in SP and still trolls here but rossannan and LexLucre have given up - if I understand your position correctly you are a long term shareholder here that was sensible enough not to take LayLadyLay's advice and sell when the company was almost bankrupt so you have a chance at seeing some improvement in value - even if Saffron is not a blockbuster the Suriname deal and Lind funding give CERP the basis to progress - why all this angst? - if I see you at one of the CERP presentations I'm happy to give you a big hug if it will help - which is more than I'd offer to rossannan or Irene ( she is gratuitously nasty!) .

BlobBlob - thanks for your reply earlier this morning - have to agree with LK at this stage it's irrelevant but the bonus was Irene taking the bait - no need for clarification about £ or $ that was priceless!
