RE: Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.24 Mar 2020 06:25
LayLadyLay - I'm really pleased you have so embraced the FCA you are now quoting them for the benefit of readers - shame you blatantly ignored FCA rules when you famously ran your ' Placing Monday ' stunt which was clearly contrary to the ' Important Message from the Financial Conduct Authority ' displayed to all of us every time we post on LSE!
Krapper - if you actually countered with some knowledge people might have a different opinion of you but your main thrust is the moronic ' how many bopd question ' - you would be struggling to achieve third rate status even compared to 12bn on advfn!
RE: Safffron results should be known by now.15 Mar 2020 12:58
LayLadyLay - as troll-in-chief it's so considerate of you to tell us ' the extended delay is harming investor confidence ' - the macroeconomic situation has dramatically impacted on oil stocks hence the SP movement but trading volume doesn't suggest PIs are running for the hills, most seem content to wait it out.
Whether the rns drops tomorrow or next week probably makes little difference for the majority of investors here - but as a non - shareholder your input and concern is about as valuable as your counterpart on advfn 12bn who's been trolling for as long as you and has a dedicated troll channel over there !
Krapper - I'm surprised you didn't give your stock answer to pretty much any question - ' how many bopd will that produce ?' .
harel - 2000 bopd would be manna from heaven - liking your enthusiasm but we do try to be a bit more realistic- plan for worst and be pleasantly surprised - not long too wait now for the actual numbers !
RE: New Jamaican covid19 cases arrived from Trinidad and Tobago14 Mar 2020 11:25
LayLadyLay - many thanks for bringing that information to the attention of readers - it is to your eternal credit you spend so much time considering news, no matter how tenuous, that may impact on CERP - where would we be without your contribution many people ask!
You have quoted from arrynillson previously and in case you missed his latest offering I’ve reproduced it for you, in case you are wondering arry is quite comfortable to see it over here !
wiilec1979 ‘ I can’t believe people can not see that CV is not in Trinidad.’
arrynillson 12 Mar ‘20 - 23:15 - 9971 of 9972 willec1979 - it’s necessary to consider the macroeconomic position- CV is now pretty much global and each country is dealing with it in it’s own way but the general result is reduced productivity/activity/ demand. An obvious example is air transport- less flying means lower demand for aviation fuel which ultimately hits WTI. Additionally Saudi Arabia and Russia are squabbling about market share so double whammy on oil price which may last for some time. Although CERP doesn’t produce a lot of oil at the moment investors believe that will change in the future but bottom line profit has to be considered and low WTI will not help CERP, to put it mildly!
Having said that there will still be a big cheer if Saffron is a success and ‘ elbow pumping’ for LK and team as his job is to find oil and produce - he doesn’t control the macro which is constantly changing but clearly management have to make assumptions about WTI when deciding on viability of certain developments. Hope that helps!
Lex -CERP SP is on it's knees and there are lots that want to weigh in with attacks on LK - those that follow the company closely note the MEEI figures for production indications which are a good guide for CERP given that most of the production is from the IPSC. At those levels loss making is almost certain. Most people are invested here for the future rather than the past which is why Saffron/ Suriname and CO2 news is key and we are getting that information as well as gleaming tanks !
Fishsheds - you've shown you have a propensity to lie over that bigmj false selling post for which I haven't seen the apology, to him or the board!
I'm happy to state I have more than an ounce of faith in Koot as I don't expect him to control Covid - 19 or POO - we still await the results for Saffron - does the delay make commerciality more or less likely - difficult to say but Koot has spent on the tanks so if it's a duster I'll certainly be questioning that judgement !
Ol Krapper is so ignorant about potential for SWP - hellooooooooooooooooo Soldado field can be seen from SWP - even LayLadyLay acknowledges that and he's got the largest pair of blinkers on this board LOL!
One flesh, one bone, one true religion One race, one hope, one real decision Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa ,whoa, whoa Give me one decision, yeaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chesh - trolls like krapper need to be called out for their poor memories and I applaud the time you spent to evidence your post - Krapper's dirty washing is pretty unsavoury at the best of times!
I remember, but can't be bothered to go through my book file, that Krapper asked for bigmj 's advice on investment and he replied, at length, reaching out in a very positive manner to her only to be treated shamelessly badly by her subsequently- pure nastiness, for no apparent gain!
Fishsheds - read the ' Important Message from the Financial Conduct Authority ' which is displayed every time you post - there is a difference between enthusiastically talking up the prospects for a company and blatant lying. I don't make the rules but I do expect compliance - surely you must have thought ' does posting this blatant lie feel OK'?
Fishsheds - when you're out on these walks spreading bon homie and people ask what are you up to at home do you tell them you take pleasure in posting blatant lies on CERP website telling them bigmj a major shareholder has sold ( BTW also a criminal offence in UK !)?
GRQ /LGO et al - I'm sure we all have our own vision of what this board should look like but it is disrupted by individuals who spoil it, for all sorts of reasons, some of which are difficult to fathom. Trolling has long been accepted and some do it for direct financial gain, shorting or to achieve a lower entry price but others do it for spite or because they're bored. 12bn on advfn has been trolling for years and claims no financial interest yet whenever the price falls by more than 1% he's on the board suggesting this is an augur of dire consequences for the SP - he has even set up a series of threads he runs because he's been banned from the ' non- nutters ' thread. I post regularly on his thread to counter any misinformation and fortunately he has me filtered so we are not on there all day trying to have the last word!
Chesh has engaged some of the trolls on here in a bantering style which is an art form and appears to satisfy their needs, whilst giving them little credence - the two trolls he engages are not the most pleasant or stylised individuals and I am awed by his patience and ability to deal with them sometimes subtlety other times not in ways that allow them to feel they have made some form of contribution.
On this site trolls are allowed a lot of latitude before they are banned. Some say don't reply to them it just gives oxygen but I do not believe that will stop them as the example of 12bn makes clear - he'd been at it for years before I decided to reply to his posts and not much has changed for him except readers who see his tosh now also see my dismissal of it - I also post on his other shares and feed his troll one liners back to him - he has a repertoire of stock expressions some of which are very effective so he's not a total clown !
Back to CERP and the absence of the transformational potential there is a lot riding on Saffron - provided production is reasonable the idea becomes Scaleable as THE SWP PROJECT because the profit per barrel under the private licence is excellent and involvement of partners could accelerate time frames through injection of more cash - just my opinion and although signs look encouraging for Saffron the wait is challenging for many but arguably less bad than being quarantined on a Cruise Ship where you can't turn off the air con and numbers of positive tests increase daily despite quarantine- best wishes to all those involved. ( I included the latter because most people like a human interest story ).
LayLadyLay - CALM DOOOOOOOOOOWN - I never accused you of that - just read the quote - you suggested PRD may not be able to capital raise the amount required- which they’ve just done - seems like folks are keen to support that business- CO2 EOR results will clearly be influential on future decision making!
Interestingly the troll who was the subject of this thread was originally arguing with, who else but - Bamps! Bamps does talk a lot of sense hence the desire to discredit him.
I know that many of our trolls will be pleased to be put out of their agony by me naming the troll responsible - it was, of course, LayLadyLay !
Lex - I've seen plenty of Placings where the claim of over subscription has not been made - just stating info from the rns, approved by NOMAD. PRD are a loss maker so people are showing support for management and the way they have conducted themselves to date as well as their stated objectives - they do seem keen to blow the trumpet on CO2 - no guarantees it will lead to buyout but the flame is still burning on that score - I wouldn't want to be the one to rule it out Lex , or, for that matter, be like the troll who questioned the likelihood PRD would be able to raise serious finance, as has just occurred!
Thanks for keeping in touch - you are one of the cuddlier trolls !
