PRD state in their Placing rns that it was over subscribed which suggests that more could have been raised and possibly might be in the future if this dynamic company with substantial director shareholdings continues to meet objectives!

Whether PRD exercise the option to buy TI is clearly not known at this time although they talk a lot about CO2 EOR in the Placing rns but I think it's pretty clear they didn't bother approaching our well known troll for funding advice ROFLMAO!

These options are nil cost - it may be that conversion crystallises tax charge but in any event it had to happen some time and conversion does actually now register as skin in the game, often mentioned on this board whenever there is not a closed period ( also much debated!).

Bamps - good questions, all of which have occurred to me ! I have reasoned that as LK is quite accomplished at spin if anything positive had happened he would have included it in rns/media but I'd be delighted to be mistaken. You would be an excellent AGM participant as you could ask those questions and then ask follow ups - they might try to shut you down but the audience will be interested in the information revealed and would support you asserting yourself - LK has great latitude in making revelations at an AGM !

Bamps et al - the test will either be commercial or not - a running commentary would pass the time as we could debate each morsel but the final number is the important bit - with shares delayed news is probably more often than not bad rather than good but we've just seen with TXP that waiting for the result can be worthwhile.

When the numbers are out people will make a judgment on LK - it may be one disappointment too many - or LK will be the new messiah or it may be more testing - most people know the score here - I'm not going to blindly ramp this because LK has been guarded in his rns and if it turns out to be a poor performer he has covered his back side - many people have stuck with it and will do so until the result is announced - even Bigmj according to his post - clearly if fishsheds has evidence that he is lying now would be the time to furnish it !

LGO-fan - correct me if I’m wrong but you had a Brexit post removed from the other board - not looking for an exchange over it as I’m as fatigued as the next man but I just wanted to agree with you that amongst other benefits our membership did attract significant foreign investment which was particularly welcome in the earlier years as the EU discriminated heavily against countries like Japan but tolerated exports from Jap owned UK business.

I would however confidently predict that UK would not have voted to join, initially, if the full details of the Monet project had become more widely known - we were assured it was a trade club with strings but nothing like the final evolvement pre Brexit.

If I were Belgian like yourself I would embrace the project and suffer the aspects I didn’t like because putting up it is worthwhile given the removal of trade friction which can lead to tension which can escalate into security issues. Hope that helps - ATB!

willec - if you are thinking about formulating conspiracy theories in a serious way you will need to do a lot better than that - the info was ' rnsible' because it told the market that CERP had complied with the terms of legally varied ISPC agreement - non compliance could have meant a loss of the contract and where would we be then willec!

I know you are as keen as the next man to make a profit but I would counsel giving your posts a tad more forethought before pressing the red button.

LayLadyLay - PRD gave an indication of capital cost at inception and have subsequently indicated that they have come in under budget - presumably the final figure will be agreed between the companies and announced in due course .

As to how long before CERP benefit that clearly depends on the yield and PRD projected a relatively modest bopd for a successful outcome - it's on their website .

It's not really worth having a spat over how many bopd this deal will produce otherwise the debate is reduced to Irene Krapp levels - suffice to say CERP assumed the deal with the takeover and if it exceeds expectations that would be great and may lead to the $4.2 million buy out. If it doesn't work out that will be a shame but the field had a huge MWO which has been lifted in return for the CO2 scheme - CERP has other priorities for cash at a higher netback in SWP and probably Suriname .

Chesh - where are the duels taking place between CERP and PRD - surely there's not that much animosity about the SP tick ups haha!

Edgar - Innis Trinity was producing circa 200 bopd. When CERP acquired it - at those levels the field is unlikely to be profitable under the IPSC - upping production from the field pushes yield per bopd in a positive direction as well as creating cash to repay the PRD capital outlay, which, in turn speeds the time when CERP benefit from the 50/50 split on the CO2 wells, even if the $4.2 million doesn't materialise.

Willec - sagacious observations regarding the other board - those making such provocative comments are known to be non shareholders. Shareholders understand that it was a condition of the IPSC extension on Innis Trinity that work progressed in a timely manner so that it was quite proper to reassure shareholders that CERP/PRD were compliant - what's not to like!

Edgar - Chancers is clearly a pragmatist as well as a visionary- he realises that the CO2 project is our chance to actually get some points on the board whilst the longer game is being cunningly played out at the SWP.

The CO2 scheme is a pilot for this system on Trinidad and could have significant application elsewhere on CERP projects now that LK is enthusiastic about it.

Razorman - as the trolls are taking a rest at the moment can I congratulate you on creating an arch ramper in disguise - Tony Hawkins - if the loan repayments require a base level of production which they are already achieving I'd like to know where from as Saffron is nil currently and from the MEEI figs Goudron is pretty uninspiring. Looking at the accounts losses are still huge when G&A is included!

I can see CERP drilling one well at South Erin in due course, probably not this year - if the result is lousy I envisage non renewal of the licence, subject to full investigation of any legal ramifications.

But, with some decent positive momentum from Saffron, other possibilities may open up for South Erin.

Irene - most people on here, given the COS for Saffron, wouldn't have predicted 0 bopd, but you did, in fact, according to your sweepstake, which you are very quiet about these days, most people predicted a positive outcome!

Most investors here understand the speculative nature of the business and don't seem to require an assurance of a minimum bopd figure before investing as CERP are unlikely to ever give such an undertaking !

I certainly wouldn't subscribe to any site that's inculcating such ludicrous notions to you ! If your opinions are self generated I'd recommend you consult the Government sponsored financial advice site to improve your knowledge!
