Irene - I'm not surprised you're back to Saffron - bit like rossannan and Koot - huge embarrassment for both of you - yours was a double whammy on Saffron - you forecast NO OIL production - you were proved wrong - then you suggested there was doubt over whether production was continuing- rossannan wasnt on the troll wavelength at the time as he published the recent email from BPC confirming it was still producing!

Most thinking people know that Saffron 1 production is now largely irrelevant- it was an exploration drill and what they found inspired the drill team to offer Saffron 2 at their expense - in return for a share of production- apologies if that confidence in the potential doesn't suit your position or rossannan but facts are facts!

Krapper publish evidence to support your claim - this would be a big win for you ( you need it at the moment! ) and it would destroy any credibility I have .

In the absence of evidence publication readers can draw the conclusion that lying comes very easy for you especially when desperation takes hold!

Readers need to ask themselves what sort of person wastes thei life publishing lies on a bulletin board to deramp a share.

You chose to forecast that NO OIL would be produced from Saffron based on the pre drill information available to all - an independent assessment of 45% COS, targeting 4 zones in a known production area. You could have been right but your odds were less than black or red that NO OIL would be produced.

The evidence from Saffron 1 exploration drill is that major production from the area is very likely - I haven't seen it but clearly Saffron 1 drill team has and it encouraged them to offer Saffron 2 drill at their cost in exchange for production share ( what is a share of NIL worth Irene? ) . BPC management have seen the evidence and they've decided they want to fund the drill 100% to benefit from a 100% share of NIL Irene?

If you've got evidence to support your negative views just publish it and readers can draw their own conclusions- bigoted trolling is just moronic!

rossannan- if I had a penny for each time a troll posted about the need for an imminent Placing I'd be making shed loads more than your imaginary hoard - probably would get well down that road just counting your posts on their own where you directly challenged Koot's honesty for close to a year, prior to the successful Saffron exploration drill!

Irene - publish the evidence I've said a 4000 ft well will produce like offshore Soldado - If you bother to read the August presentation from BPC on their website you'll see they make the association with the geographic areas. The development of the SWP is envisaged to be a rolling programme with the lower hanging fruit taken first to provide financing for subsequent drilling culminating I believe in a deeper drill ( at greater cost Irene but still cheaper than offshore !) .

It's difficult to understand why you can't comprehend the logic - unless you think the dinosaurs decided that they must die in a place that millions of years later would definitely be under the sea, rather than onshore, in case it offended Irene!

When it came to considering the prospects for Saffron 1, given the COS was independently assessed at 45% , with 4 target zones, in a known oil production area where oil leaches to the surface naturally you claimed NO OIL would be produced! Readers can make their own judgment on the value of your commentary - at least fellow troll 12bn on ADVFN comes up with an amusing one-liner occasionally!
