Petrodollar - company email sharing is not without controversy and last time I looked was against LSE rules - I was pleased with the diplomacy shown by the company.

I'm sure rossannan and other close Trinidad watchers will be pleased the Trinidad Government has, post inspection, been able to allay concerns regarding FSO Nabarima in the Gulf of Paria - it looks like a bit more work is required before it's up to the sort of standard that might interest BPC LOL!

Petrodollar - FWIW I consider it very likely the email is genuine- the production figures published by BPC are consistent with the MEEI Trinidad Government monthly stats you can google - look under PSC column - largely CERP production. The completion they made from Saffron was at a level where water was around 95% of production - I'm pleased it is still contributing to production as that naughty Irene suggested it may have been closed in !

The deep target at Saffron 1 was the important one and technical difficulties prevented them completing in that zone - the drill company involved are obviously confident that Saffron 2 can overcome those difficulties hence the offer to drill at their expense in return for a share of production. This is a difficult issue for bulletin board trolls to understand let alone exploit LOL!

Yes rossannan the COS are so low the firm drilling Saffron 1 offered to drill Saffron 2, at their cost, in exchange for a share of production - these are the guys who were there and have seen everything- unlike bulletin board trolls ! Sometimes you can come up with a challenging argument but I think this Koot obsession is affecting your judgement rossannan!

NICO - always delighted to sing the praises of CO2 recovery and the wonderful opportunity that far sighted PRD directors presented to Trinidad and CERP - have my fingers and legs crossed that results will continue to give encouragement to this magnificent venture and that ENHANCED PSC will be available on the Trinity Inniss field on similar terms to that which Koot has been negotiating for years with Trinidad Government body in respect of Goudron!

Jimtheknow - jury still out but I'm pretty confident about the final verdict on the CERP acquisition - many people like to have a bit of insurance to fall back on with a best figure COS @35%! You've seen how painful it's been on your SP raising the cash for P1 - what odds would you give for BPC to raise same again if it's a duster ?

I have no problem with individuals contacting the company with questions but in the case of rossannan even when he's given information by the CEO he decides it can't be relied upon and mounts a campaign of challenge for close to a year, involving multiple daily postings( to be fair, suspended for a limited period whilst some readers took up his invitation to pay cash in return for him not posting !) - only for it to end with Koot proving him wrong and rossannan slinking off tail between his legs, without any apology!

IreneKrapp - here is your big chance to show the board your own detailed breakdown of CERP accounting taking full account of the FACT that the business is now a bolt on to existing BPC management and administration structure ( remember the CERP BOD were all terminated save Leo Koot ( despite intensive lobbying from rossannan perhaps? ) and the CERP debt was repaid by BPC !) .

If I felt like you about BPC I'd be selling my shares - but unlike rossannan you haven't told us you've bought in - please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall you ever claiming to have been a shareholder!

GG - Prospect makes the case for a minimalist approach communication wise for a company that has not produced anything for 10 years! Anybody seriously in the O&G business wanting to make contact with BPC put off by the HO set up is unlikely to be the sort of risk taker they are seeking to attract !

Your comments regarding the concept of FPSO stinking of incompetence would be more meaningful if you were able to explain why you believed it was problematic- perhaps ask oil worker 1 how the system works ? I don't believe Potter needs to have the FPSO on site for the drill - if we get a good result there will be plenty of cash to contract a suitable FPSO.
