Vanessa Colomar has single handedly managed to put a dent in any positive sentiment that was building around Darktrace. For a supposed Communications director she is sending out all the wrong signals.

It is strange. The UK has few world class technology firms. Darktrace is shaping up to be a market leader in one of the fastest growing sectors and all the press in this country can do is cast doubt and misinformation. I have said before that any UK tech firm looking to list would be better doing so in the US. It seems like the UK would rather see companies fail.

What went on before with the share price before was pure market manipulation in my opinion. The blanket media coverage afforded to ShadowFall was ridiculous and even today we are seeing them mentioned in newspaper articles reporting the Darktrace results. The FCA should be investigating the analyst at Peel Hunt who invented a friend to call the Darktrace product snake oil. His statement about Darktrace overestimating the size of the cybersecurity market doesn't seem to be holding up particularly well either.

I would expect Rolls Royce share price to fall. The escalations in Ukraine are likely to have a negative effect on the demand in the airline industry. Not sure you can say the same about Darktrace.

Strange to see the Darktrace share price fall by more than the wider market. Everything that is happening just now means that cyber security tools are going to be necessary or indeed compulsory going forward. I have heard "cyber attack" mentioned in news reports more in last week than any time before.

Licker. I totally agree and have been saying the same thing for years. Any tech company looking to go public would be crazy to do so in London.

All good news for companies like Darktrace. These products are no longer a nice to have but a necessity. £4 a share could look like an absolute bargain in a few years time.

Nidec, You expressed disappointment at Darktrace missing an opportunity. How you know that Darktrace have not been in contact since the incident to promote the Darktrace solution.

Nidec. I don't understand why you would be disappointed. Darktrace are a Cyber security software provider not aconsultacy service that you call when your systems are already compromised.

Interesting find but remember that multiple analyst reports have said Darktrace have overestimated the potential size of the Cyber security market and cited it as a reason to sell. Doesn't feel like that to me.

I would have no issue with the Motley Fool writing a negative article if it was factual and well researched. None of the articles have been. That includes the positive ones. Motley Fool are best ignored. It worries me that people actually pay money to subscribe to them.
