I am unsure of how the results tomorrow can be poor, when it has already been stated it is better than original guidance, and that fits in with the timeline of profit from next year.

Anyone have any thoughts on where it could be seen as poor if we are looking at the SP thinking something has leaked (like just before MM called off the Apollo bid) ?

One thing is for certain ... MM keeps a close eye on the SP.

How do I know that ? On the negative day in late August, when the SP was being battered, he dropped the Linkedin post about the market and regulators.

They have said the interims were ahead of expectations and even backed that up in the July RNS so he can do no more and when the SP is getting battered I think that pushed him to drop the post.

I agree with those that say these results are MM's last chance saloon but some may be being guided by recent SP action and the drop before the results. Guidance was positive and I would hope that is reflected tomorrow.

If they fall short MM has relinquished his GS so they really will be at the mercy of PE's then IMHO

Stock, as you say it will be the forward looking statements to see where THG is going and if it will break a profit next year.

Why would MP do pet food ? Can you explain the link ?

They are already expanding from the gym goer to the larger market of people wanting to eat healthier in a nutritional sense rather than slimming food. That is all part of the nutritional side.

So yes I am very confident they won't be making pet food as they aren't even in the same ballpark or business.

Yespsb, I can confidently say MP won't be making dog food. That would be like Sports Direct selling horseshoes IMHO

The increase into the market of people who want to eat healthy but not use gymgoer products like whey and protein products is a huge market.

Josh, then he should be able to get it with the Amazon deal. Sounds like roll out by year end or early 2024 :)

Josh, wasn't aware there were addresses that Iceland don't deliver.

To put simply if Amazon can deliver to the address then 'Iceland' will too under the agreement as it will being delivered by Amazon drivers.

How far is he from an Iceland store ?

Crafty, doesn't work that way for supermarket deals. For Iceland range we get a % of product price. Delivery will come from the store like Amazon do with Morrisons using Amazon drivers.

So the tie up with Iceland and Amazon will just put the MP products to a larger audience.

The pay per pick is the Autostore deal at the fulfilment centres but is Autostore get a deal with Amazon that will be big news as hugely revenue generating.

Marlin, not huge news but definitely helps with the snowball effect and much larger customer base.

Perhaps they will use Amazon delivery drivers as they do with Morrisons deal

If they do it makes the MP products much easier to buy and have delivered IMHO

Trying to tone down my optimism as it got a slap the last set of results delivered and MM knew it would hence the attempted cover up with Apollo news (Won't mind if these results arrive with an MBO)

I feel MP will have good results, with good future expectations, especially if roll out to other supermarkets starts this year as MM LinkedIn post stated.

As for Ingenuity and Beauty I am less confident but hope the MP data will be enough to keep profit for next year in track.

I still feel there will be another MM curveball this month especially as this was the month the GS was supposed to be dropped and he dropped it a few months back.
