1000 ? Isn't that the number of babies that go deaf after taking anti-biotics ? The number of tests is a multiple of that !!

What amazing timing and it a perfect storm. The price was building in prep for NICE approval on one test and FDA Breakthrough Device lands for the other. I couldn't have written it better myself :)

Best of luck with that, there were no rumours about GDR's AIHL test last week just chatter about the CYP2C19 test. For a UK company to have one product classed by the FDA as a Breakthrough device and NICE approval less than 2 weeks away on another is stunning news. Let's see the reaction ...

Why would they ?

You have to ask yourself this question if you are surprised by the rise. When the SP was at 1.7p that meant that the market cap was £9m and they had £6m cash ... were the two products that GDR have worth more than £3m ?

Of course they were, a LOT more, and it is still low especially to a US pharm.

They had a HUGE dilution .... there was a massive churn .... placing shares all sold and they are gainable back to a fair market cap (the level of the dilution was far too low)

This is why nothing goes up in a straight line. Not the sell showing as a buy it's the weak holders happy with 15% selling and these shares are transferred to someone with more patience and understanding who isn't worried about holding a share for more than a few days.

Or it could be the large churn is complete and we are now moving up after the churn held is back. Just my thinking.

You get that with a rise as some are happy with 10% profit so it is certainly no indication they are placing shares as I believe they were all gone this week.

You need to research companies beforehand and not try and jump in on a buy signal.

They JUST had a HUGE placing ... to be thinking of cash burn at the moment is plain daft. I believe it is around £400k a month.

When SP is fluctuating, and the spread is small, you can get shares that get labelled incorrectly as the system is automated and it is no big conspiracy.
