I am optimistic about GDR but 20p .... not a chance in the short term

Nothing is ever "nailed on" or an "absolute certainty" but there are enough things to point to the fact they will get NICE Recommendation on or after 31st July.

Aklee, just wondering who you would suggest as I am with HL and whenever trade picks up in a share it's always difficult to trade with them and I see all other trades coming through so some have no problem ?

Gordon, 31st July isn't next week. It was stated that 31st July would be the earliest that recommendation would be given.

He always cover himself if it drops, stays level or rises ... I can't see the point of it and if he was any good at it then he wouldn't be sat commenting on if a share will drop, stay level or rise but a lot of people seem to follow him for some reason

I am still expecting a slight down day sometime, as nothing goes up in a straight line, but it doesn't seem ready for that yet and goes through consolidation cycles intraday.

I remember it too and wasn't it 70p a share ? And yes I have lost money on GDR the same way you did. Anyone who has been holding this for a long time is way down especially the recent massive placing. I also get what people are saying about NICE being as good as done but I still feel there will be a decent lift when it is announced. As for FDA ... nope not approved just pushed on to the faster track.

Sold 10% of holding for my first slice over 4.5p and those were ones that I bought at 1.5p so a nice 200% profit on those to move elsewhere.

Majority still in and the highest I paid was 1.85p on those :)

Let's have a look last year when GDR got NICE recommendation for other product. Went from 10p to 50p before news and then dropped back. On the day of news it went from 20p to 40p. There was no FDA news during that rise.

Of course this is no given that it will happen again but shows the "baked in" remark is just clueless talk IMHO

What is realistic ? Who would have thought that this would be pushing 5p a share when it dipped to just above 2p on Thursday morning ? Not even a week ago so who knows in 2 weeks ?

... was huge AND completely unexpected. So glad it came after the placing - can you imagine it landing when this was 8p a share and it rocketed with FDA news and the next day they dropped placing news at 1.5p ? It would have been a repeat of 2020 and the Covid special placing.

Before FDA news I was hoping it would get to 3p-ish and form a base before the NICE news landed but the news on Monday changed all that and the size of the news has taken time to filter through. The gradual buying pressure has allowed the placing shares to be all taken up and even given some 100% profit way back at 3p.

For now I can sit back and enjoy the continual rise and wait for the oncoming fireworks but fully expected all the games being played that are currently happening to gain more shares.

Yup "RNS logged" is really pointless and just BS. It's not a queue process or anything like that ... can take a few mins to issue an RNS. Seen it when share prices shoot up and the "we know of no reason" RNS is issued.
