That was early in Covid over hype of millions of tests ... couldn't sell one in the end. Price was £2.20 when they did a placing at 70p .... nothing much changes.

I think there was about 60m shares when it hit £3 .... there are now 543m so 10p a share is almost equivalent of £1 a share back then

Patty, when a fund agrees to cover a placing they are not thinking in the same way a PI does. They have millions of shares they bought at 1.5p and offloading them at 1.65 - 1.75p means a very quick 10 - 20 % profit and then they have monies available to cover another placing elsewhere.

Roger ... it was a huge dilution so you have to expect quite a bit of time to sort itself out. The delay has actually helped that so that when the news arrived the overhang should be long gone.

They were wary of that way back in to late 2020 early 2021 and it still didn't stop the rise last March (of course covid test kit for 20/21 and totally different market for baby deafness test)

Tiger, I agree. Last year it was 10p in early March and rocketed up to 50p (11p diluted) before dropping down to 20p (4.4p diluted) when news of NICE recommendation landed it shot up to 40p (8.8p diluted)
