I’d suggest we don’t have all the placing shares sold yet.

We may have had more than 4 times the volume of the shares issued at 0.4p traded since the placing, BUT the SP was languishing around the placing price for much of that.

So realistically people that bought the placing couldn’t sell for profit. This permit news and SP was (IMO) going to be sold into. I sold 1/3 of my shares at 0.055 on that basis. Getting close to buying back..

Quite right moonman. Let’s hand the permit back and not bother. Whilst you’re at it - let all the other gold miners in the world that the game is up. It costs money so they’d better stop.

Fantastic news. I remember looking at GGP when the AP was sky high and valued at nearly £1bill MCAP and thought ‘you’d have to be nuts to buy this’ nowhere near producing any gold. SP not surprisingly rebounded badly.

Whereas GWMO are now on the cusp of production, and the potential of a significant copper find for the valuation of a couple of curly wurleys. This SP and MCAP is cheap….

We’ll look at that a drop back 0.0495p - so that sticky resistance of 0.049 now looks like our support.

all I hoped for today is a close above 0.049 today and push on tomorrow …

I agree 10-11p was the buy. Unfortunately I sold (for BCE I think, hoping a small gain before HEX moved).

Yep, buying the placing is a good tactic I think…. I’m the same with MATD. But the difficulty is that I’ll be selling MATD to fund HEX. MATD chart does look like it could move up a bit this week….

0.049p is the resistance level from what I can see. It would be nice to move past that today ahead of Wednesdays RNS (presumably we will get an RNS Wednesday regarding commissioning the plant).

As you said lots of small wins can give a huge return, holding out for that big win you can end up making a loss sometimes. I’m saying that I’m hoping to make 50%+ with MATD before moving on to HEX. But I will buy HEX this week before it starts to move again

Dia - your 00.43 post is EXACTLY what I’ve come to realise.

I’ve not added to my ISA. I only trade what I have. BCE made a 10% or 15% profit. It’s a profit and you’re not fighting to get back to where you started after a loss. If you miss a big mover so be it, I wouldn’t risk buying in and getting spiked. Instead of getting worried I’m missing out I now just think ‘I’ll get the next one and leave it alone’.

As you say, small wins in place of losses are a big big thing!

As you say the board is a bit nuts. I quite like MFAI but the lack of revenue I don’t like, just as you say. Then earl of aim being all over the board is an immediate turn off seeing you pop up peaked my interest. Most of AIM IMO is a timebound trade so as not to get caught by find raises/dilution…. And the safest time to buy is after a fund raise!…. Luckily yesterday’s raise wasn’t so bad. …

Off topic, I was looking for a bike for my daughter last Friday and there was a used Trek Madone up for sale that caught my eye, fortunately it was too big for me (I don’t get out often enough to justify the money!)

Me too - but the amount of times I expect a blue day on great news for it then not to happen, well it’s unusually often on AIM.

Another share I’m holding also had a placing recently, awarded a permit and to allow production (now a week or so away) and little to no reaction in the SP. So in my mind it’s all part of the placing shares changing hands.

No doubt the SP will respond given time

Now… what’s the chances we end the day break even or up?…… I’d say reasonable. There’s always a sell on news brigade but there can not be many selling at a profit now.

Most holders must be up only a few% or underwater and so profit taking can’t really happen, limiting the sells…

Volume traded yesterday was insane.

I can imagine your posts if the permit had not been approved. End of the world. But we got it. Huge news and given the volume today plenty of others believe that too.

As stated, most if not all placing shares now churned through. The next few weeks will be fun.
