Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Well I've only just come here today a few minutes ago and when I saw 24 posts I was hoping to see some exciting opinions. Alas, it reminded me of when my Children were arguing over "Beat Your Neighbours"
Much more research done by all and certainly more than I am capable of, esp' Surfit who is trying hard, so I won't complain. Thanks All for the contributions and keep 'em coming!
Hopefully when some decent News arrives words will be eaten, but that won't matter as all will be friends!
Jimmy, the Eternal Diplomat, you have a way of ignoring the gossip and picking out the real stuff.
Well, Kb, you may be correct about next year after APs latest bulletin "coming Months" - But he never fails to surprise when his comments don't come to pass. So maybe we will hear something tomorrow, Monday which will again be a surprise??
B4Now - I have only been on Char 3 years - 10-13 years ago the sp was 30p on about 200m shares? = £60m cap. Was that because they thought they found oil at Namibia? .... then they didn't and the shares collapsed? £60m seems a lot without any definite find ?? We now have proven gas so the goal posts are wider and s/be easier to score.
Sorry to hear you need 30p to draw level on your ½m shares.
I would love to know what the total holdings are for those on here and what % we have together. I don't suppose we would get near 51% ?
It is not something we like to disclose I guess but a few weeks ago we had someone saying they may sell a million on a small rise - I forget who that was.

Hahaha what do we know? I feel like doing a poem but haven't had my tea yet and am tired after painting and mortaring. I'm glad I'm not going for a beer with ICb3fatladies as I believe laughter is good for you and there aint much hope there!
.... Nice one Snott we needed that. Not sure which way Kb is going he seems to be up and down? Just waiting for GPs next song link. Not sure what "fellow gonner" means but Gtrzak found the AP interview after I searched Brrmedia and found nothing.
I've not checked on here since lunchtime and appreciate everyone's pennyworth. It matter snot that we sound to be on different hymn sheets but probably aren't really. A couple say they are off when we reach 20p but if it went there I think temptation and a different mood could change that?
GLA and no doubt we'll meet again tomorrow !
A good RNS please tomorrow
Thanks Gtrzak. I like your confidence, or is this straight from an interview with A.P. ? I cannot find the interview - could you please point to it?
Interesting that A.P. has 10 times as much value in Tharisa $115,000,000 as per :--

I guess he is distracted somewhat but hopefully that does not mean Chariot takes too much of a back seat.
Jimmy - " particularly as the exploration farm out market effectively died. " ........ Are you saying Chariot are not going to be able to do a farm out deal as there are now no takers ??
Reminder from 3rd August and comment from Duncan Wallace. Hopefully this still on target for early gas at Loukos.

ICB - There were also 2 x 200,000 sells at the same price within 6 minutes. But trades are huge today compared to yesterday and there are net £70,000 buys so far and the MMs have reduced the sp again by .5p - They are at it again!
Interesting paragraphs on Chariot's website in respect of keeping Shareholders informed of important issues and ensuring compliance with AIM Regulations :--
RELATIONS WITH SHAREHOLDERS
Communications with shareholders are given a high priority by the Board of Directors, who take responsibility for ensuring that a satisfactory dialogue takes place. Directors plan to meet with the Group’s institutional shareholders following the announcement of interim and final results and at other appropriate times. The Directors are also in regular contact with stockbrokers’ analysts and hold calls for Private Investors at least twice a year. The AGM is held in London (moved from Guernsey so that this would be more accessible) and shareholders are encouraged to attend.
"The Company ensures that all shareholders and investors have equal access to the Company’s information, and it has procedures to ensure that all price sensitive information will be disclosed to the London Stock Exchange, and subsequently its corporate website, in accordance with continuous disclosure requirements."
......... so there we are
KB. Boris. Rishi was popular when he gave about £½trillion away for covid including to villains inventing Companies & getting free loans plus some self-employed who didn't need any. Liz tried to give even more away in tax cuts too much too soon - would have worked I think in smaller doses. Boris would win the next election but doesn't understand money!
So I'd have Boris PM and Jacob Chancellor of Ex' to keep an eye on him.
I wouldn't mind the Chancellor of Exchequer job as I'd balance the books very soon. With the National Debt equivalent to about £35,000 for every man/woman/convict/child/immigrant/OAP we are stuffed until we get a sensible C of E (Jacob being a religious C of E also might work!)
