Is there anyone on this board who has read the many pages on this rns and understands enough to answer the questions I have?
1) What is happening on Wednesday 24Th July?
2) What is the significance of 24th August which looks to me like it is not a fixed date?
3) What is the date by which we need to apply for our allowance in the Open Offer? Presumably we will be contacted by our Broker.
4) When can we trade the shares we may be allocated?
5) As I understand things, a placing is where a certain number of shares will be purchased by large shareholders who have already agreed to buy them? - and they are being purchased for 6.5p each
6) I wonder, as I think others do according to some of the posts since Friday, why on earth are we seeing this now and not when the sp was a whisker below 8p not long ago?
7) I read on here that AP had "promised" there would be no more fund raising, so does that make him a liar?
8) As there are a few events coming up in the next few weeks which should be meaningful, one would think that there could be some possible significant movement in the sp, in which case it would be pretty stupid to buy at 6.5p if any movement was downwards and if it was upwards - and expected to be so by the BOD - that is another reason for not doing this until such upwards movement.
So it is all very confusing unless the whole idea is so BOD members can up their shareholdings on the cheap before we hear some good news. But if the news was not going to be good then why would the BOD even be joining in this fundraise?
We have had many posts on here since Friday - mostly criticising this fundraise and one or three not so doing. Hopefully we will see early next week enough reason for joining in or not doing. So have those in the placing department already committed their dosh hoping the sp will not drop below 6.5p ??? (or maybe even knowing that ! )
I can only understand plain English and would have thought a few lines could have been a lot clearer than all the mumbo jumbo we have been given. I wonder if things are clearer to anyone else ?
I don't understand the significance of the dates, but if Char do not receive any funding before 24 August and they run out of money about now, July, as has been suggested, how will they manage? Maybe the funds come in on 24th which pays their wages ???
