Guys everything will change now - CINE has hopefully closed a number of non profitable locations, and had new debt negotiations. So I still think 700m is close to the mark. We won’t know until 2023 though. GLA. I still believe. Even with a moderate dilution, this could hit 50p by 2025
Hexam - I hope so too. Also - did you see how much Disney streaming has lost this last quarter?
I wonder if they would consider doing what Netflix has done - start playing stuff on cinema . They loose so much to pirating, it would make sense - and I bet people would line up to watch Andor/ mando etc
Cine only seems to break even when US. Box office tops 700m . We are way below that . Your post should read : negative cash flow continues
What would be great was if Disney did a Netflix and started putting their series on theatre. Andor is excellent and would draw crowds. They are struggling with pirating .
Thanks bonkers , obviously it’s been a rough ride, but still here and holding.
I’m hoping that with a moderate dilution, and a strong 2023, that sp May be back 30-40 end of next year…. But it could easily go to zero and too. What’s your thoughts?
I see we have picked up a few new crazies here.
Bonkers i don’t think anything will happen in this sp until April next year …. I’m holding on until then…. My average is likely around 50p so long way to go (if ever) until back there
No squeeze with shorts so low
Yeah I also hear that- the audio was difficult but the judge was really apologetic. He wants Cineworld to succeed and to give them the best chance.
I guess it depends what they offered. Did you see this though :

What a stroke of luck ! Out of curiosity are you using hargreaves ?
thats the trick - IF cine can make it through this year, the rewards will be massive. If we can prove we can pay back debt and any other payment due to cineplex, this will rocket
Cinema as an industry will come back strong. Cineworld as a company will eventually be ok. Current CINE shareholders maybe not.
We need to win this case. bottom line.
RS - selling the claim wont mean cineworld gets a discount.
We have a long road to a recovery for sure. But things are freeing better. I just hope we can survive that long.
Hexam I guess you’re referring to me, I’m very impressed that even though they had 72% of attendances, they managed to pull a profit, even if small. I think this is great news.
Srini I hope you’re right !!!!
Huh?
Great news for cinema all round…
This is actually the best news we’ve had in a while
