From the rns 23rd Sept:- the Company has commenced alternative measures for settling the outstanding debts and also to provide additional short-term working capital for the Group. The Board anticipates that these arrangements will be finalised during Q4. Should the position change, then the Company will make a further announcement.

So given that no announcement has been made yet can we assume the new arrangements will be completed on time

They will be uploading a recording of the presentation on the website soon, definitely worth a watch as lots to take in.

Vast are not short of opportunities, what they need is cash! Until that problem goes away this SP is going nowhere I'm afraid, the fear of further dilution is too strong.

AP then referred to it in the RN's of 30 Oct:-“We expect further news shortly in relation to the final assays of the 500t concentrate sale outlined in the Second Agreement and will provide updates as soon as appropriate.” Clearly indicating updates would be provided - so where are they?

On the 11th of September Vast stated by way of an RNS in reference to the Haines Second agreement:-

This material is currently being bagged for sale and is expected to be sold in the coming weeks.

The Company will receive an effective royalty for marketing the concentrate equal to 20% of the difference between revenue and all expenses related to the operation, payable within 5 days of each concentrate sale.

Surely now, nearly 3 months later, we should have the numbers on the sale of this 2nd agreement?

ASi, thanks for the update and the clarity. I haven't met him but AP seems stubborn , in situation like this, that can make a difference. On a personal note I find it difficult to have the level of detachment you have but hopefully the fact you keep dipping in means despite your keyboard battles with SB you both share a common interest; that AP can pull a rabbit out of the hat or that at the very least the next pump gives us all our release papers

Thanks ASi, that makes complete sense and I can see how it takes some of the (unwanted) emotional attachment that can come with Trading/Investments.

Capital raise was a month ago, by this time next month they will be running on vapors again, news has to be soon or the merchants of doom will have their time in the spotlight.

ASI, fully appreciate all the points you make, and I tend to agree. I also understand your view of VAST as a trading share. But despite your analysis you have increased your position in the last few days/weeks. Does that mean you are expecting some good news shortly so you can trade out?

Lots of stories about new income streams, which never seem to materialize; and the only real news we get is about Dilution. The reality is cash and time is running out.

ASI- Interesting to note that despite those numbers you have recently increased your position here.

Laura, With the current cash burn rate and existing precarious financial position, something has to happen sooner rather that later. The last cash raise really didn't buy them much time at all. So lets hope the background activity comes to fruition soon!

Asi - I would be interested to get your take on the interview. Its all stuff we know but why now? New shares hit the market on the 28th, plenty of time for the SP to fall below the placing price before then, especially with the lack of faith in AP to deliver. Green shoots or not? Your thoughts would be most welcome.

Roland has been in post now for 3 years, during his tenure one third of his time has been waiting for GOI approval in one form or another. The cost both in terms of time and cash, has been significant and I am sure he feels as frustrated as the rest of us. Hopefully approval will arrive soon and we can all move on.
