5 Months after the Diamonds have been returned, the company is swimming in debt and not a single diamond has been sold (supposedly) that seems a little tardy to untrained eye ASI - Morgan or Not!

Toplocks - Given that the "Expression of Interest" closed on Friday 22nd Aug, With the importance of the outcome I thought we would have had an RNs today.

Given the radio silence are we to assume even the stones that don't warrant the beneficiation process have not gone to sale yet?

I think Roland is ahead of the curve on this, I've been here since the OEX days and Cambay has always promised so much but never delivered. It has been a money and time vacuum. At least now we can put it to bed with some cash in our coffers. CSS is also a good play too; O&G companies will increasingly be required to offset there carbon emissions as part of any license being granted, by shifting our strategy to carbon capture, we will be ahead of that curve. Selling Cambay, is a stepping stone to a new dawn. More news to follow over the coming months I suspect.

ASi - I took a note of it, as it was of some interest, posted about 2 weeks ago and originally from the VAST PR lead:-

We fully appreciate the interest and enthusiasm from our shareholders, particularly noting previously referenced timings for images, and we are committed to sharing a selection of images as soon as it is practicable to do so."

Surely the company would start selling the stones as they become available to ensure a steady cash flow and reduce the Debt.

It's either something mighty big brewing or our patience will be tested again. Everything points towards the former with the bullish sales forecasts presented as the strategic reset nears it's conclusion. It seems all we can do is wait and hope. News well overdue now.

Laura, I am simply expressing my concerns about cashburn, if you note my comments on the 22nd and particularly 30th April, you will see I was hoping to see a deal completed by now. I think the cash burn is roughly £ 150k per month (Guess, please don't shoot me) so time is important. I started investing in VRS over a year ago when they launched the new strategy and I am still happy to hold. Not sure how to reply to your handful of posts comments but my comment "Blue Finish" was said with a touch or irony on what was a difficult day!

My concern is Cash Burn, I don't know what a Mortar Mixing Plant costs but the recent raise is very much a short term solution to the companies liquidity issues. The news on Asset disposal and the strategic Investment are the critical factors going forward and it is concerning they are taking so long to appear. Whilst the mood music seems positive, I for one am looking for reassurance in a signed deal or two!

I think our strategic investor will be joining us soon, after all that's an unusually high level of buying on what could be considered a very disappointing day. It will be interesting to see if this level of activity continues tomorrow. In the accounts they predicted a 700% increase in Graphene sales, the mortar mixing machine has been acquired to meet ongoing demand. Shareholders hate placings, full stop, but if they are to facilitate growth and develop new and lucrative markets then perhaps they are a necessary evil. Sure the Company has tried t explore lots of opportunities, sometimes you have to get a few things wrong before you get them right. I shall remain invested, open minded and hopeful the BOD will deliver this time. Good Luck to all staying the course.
