VRS, have always struggled to find a decent market for their product, I wonder if that is about to change? Fully appreciate the irony of the positive tinge to this post but you never know. I hope you are right Dr Jan, something must be happening in the background given that the Company have publicly stated the they will run out of working capital by Mid May unless they receive a cash injection. Given the current uncertainty, the SP has held up remarkably well; lets hope that's the positive sign it appears to be.

Searsy, if the increase materializes it will equate to £1m of sales, not to be sniffed at, but I appreciate your cynicism given the performance of the company, I do think the new strategy has made a difference though. Time will tell.

I think we should have updates on these before the end April:-

- The Board is currently in advanced discussions with a third party with a view to raising equity funding of £0.5 million before mid-May 2025 at a premium to the current share price

- The sale of Total Carbide Limited

- increase in projected Graphene Sales of c.600%

AP loaned 500K Euro's not pounds Nevergonnaretire, so that must have dried by now. So much news outstanding and still no updates, not sure what to think at all.

There must be something going on, VAST have been unable to pay their debt payments for the past year or so and now they are sponsoring a conference.

3 months without a single operational update, when so much news is due and has been promised. It certainly is going under the radar! Normally, radio silence from AP is the prelude to bad news but let us hope this time things are different and he surprises us all in a positive way.

Fully agree with that DV but unfortunately the disconnect between pay and performance is something most CEO'S of AIM companies have in common!

I don't think Roland is a nefarious character at all, I do however think he has misjudged Selan and cut them too much slack and is now frantically trying to get everything back on track. I also think he was a little over confident when he took this job on but i was impressed by his change of tone in the last Stockbox interview. It really is now or never and I think he finally gets the gravity of our situation. The potential is enormous, but action rather than potential pays the bills.

If my maths are correct and the Third Party deal does goes through before May it is based on a MCap valuation over double the one we have today! So, If it happens that's quite a vote of confidence in the BOD and the turnaround strategy.

The VRS bod recently stated:-

With the exception of the disposal of Total Carbide Limited, which remains an ongoing process, the strategy to turnaround the business has largely been completed and we have a much-simplified business with a lower cost base.

And to remind everyone that strategy was:-

“a strategy that focuses on maintaining appropriate IP to support our core end-sectors of construction and textiles whilst reducing cash-outflows to a level that can be supported by proposed asset sales, July 2023

Once the GM is out of the way I have a feeling we will be in receipt of a few significant news items.

AP provided a loan of 500k Euros 2 month ago. Previous cash burn numbers would suggest that has now been used up. Every piece of news we have been expecting has been delayed. When something finally happens it will be explosive good or bad. Fully appreciate AP track record would suggest we will suffer more disappointment but who knows he's been steadfast in his assessment of the companies potential, perhaps now he will finally deliver on that promise. Who knows but I remain hopeful.

Gordon, you are a very brave man; I hate to think of the amount of money (£70 MIL +) and time it has taken the BOD to get to this point and produce that pretty underwhelming report. It's amazing how time can erode our expectations, but as you say hopefully it's onwards and upwards from here.

These guys must be running on vapours at the moment.

Legalease, interesting to note the going concern statement for this period last year, made no specific reference to the historic parcel, whereas this year it refers to both that and refinancing. Progress?

I think you are right a £500k non secured and interest free loan is a massive play. Like him or loathe him AP has been stubbornly going at this for some time, this seems like the actions of someone who is confident of an Upside. Here's hoping!
