FP ---Good Luck ----Dow just tested that 17889 level again !!!!!!---Dow and Dax still looking quite Bullish ---poor ol' Ftse100 still got a "heavy dose of the blues " ----i'm very reluctant to throw any more money at the Dow and Dax for the moment !! -----GL.

LegoBG ----My 50 pt. s/l may fall a little short of res. ---FP sees it at around 17968 . I see it as around 17950 ( depends who's graph you're using as IG Index and Google/Yahoo finance , for example , can differ quite a lot as one uses daily closing levels and the other uses daily peaks ) ---just thought it worth a mention ----GL.

I didn't find the top, the top found me !! --my short( with a 50 pt. s/l ) order was in at 17889 which was the most recent 1 min. daily high( 28th Nov. )( it got tested and failed yesterday ) ----i'm lucky sometimes but not that lucky !! ------Gold back above 1200, i see --will have to watch my short closely-- if the Indicies go for a dip then Gold may head higher again ?? -------- Everything seems to be in a bit of a holding pattern at the moment !! -----GL.

Dropping a bit into the closing bell ---I'm short from 17889 .

Dow is set for a Record Closing Level tonight --previous closing high was around 17830 , i think . ----------Interestingly if you plot the "peak -line" from 2009 , the Dow is about 70 pts or so off another "touch" which coincides nicely with an overbought RSI and pre-curser for the drop anytime between now and 17950 ish -----GLA.

Interesting Ftse100 action today !! ------ gaps up sharply at the opening bell , then trades in a narrow 20 point range all day --then gaps up on Futs. after hours and is trading in a narrower 8 point range at the moment ??? ---my guess ( and it would only be a guess ) is that the rally will continue now untill into the new year peaking perhaps near the 6800's highs and then a drop to the bottom of the RSI channel ----this , of course, means that the Dow and the Dax will go onto reach new highs in the same time-frame !!! --a lot to ask i hear you all say ----either that or there is still time for a pull-back before the rally to new highs ?? ---- someone put me out of my "misery" with the answer please (lol) -----GLA.

FP/F4/ALL ----Morning ---I knew one of you would have got in on GOLD --well done F4 . ---Interesting times on the markets at the moment !! I'm short Gold from 1214 so doing ok on that ---Dax has finally topped the 10022 level so that put me short today for a very quick 100 pts. ( running back up as i post ) --45 pts. on a small Dow short ------ My recent PMO, AV, and WG longs are doing well for me --- watching everything very closely at the mo. ----GLA.

GOLD now bounced 50 points ( sob, sob ) --- bet FP and F4 got in there ?? ----GLA.

FP ----bad luck on Gold --probably rocket monday morning if the Swiss say NO in their referendum --they will be busy tomorrow as they are voting on Immigration as well !! concure on the QPP margin call !! . AT --- pretty much the same answer from me on the SB/CFD question --i use Finspreads and IG Index , mostly S/B not CFD's ---done me ok for many years . Dow and Dax a bit range-locked at the moment !! ---did bank some pts. on yesterdays Dax movements tho' -----GLA.

FP ---Afternoon . When is the Swiss vote on the Gold "thing" ?? ---could fly by all accounts if Yes ---- tumble if No !!

FP ---- closed out my Dax shorts a few mins. ago @ 9962 --gives me a small overall gain of 7 pts.---you know i don't favour orchards and it's still looking too strong esp. as jobs data hasn't had any impact ( yet) ---i'll get back in on any rise towards that magic 10000 ish level or any decent looking negative candle close ----GL.

Gb---Oil certainly is the doldrums , as you say ---gone long on PMO just before the bell ---bit overdone in my view --maybe a longterm hold tho' --brent crude below $70 /barrel -----it will be artificially propped up soon !!----JMVHO ----GL.

FP ----you got a hot line to the Dow (lol)--it hit 17847.5 on IG chart ---well done . Added back on to my remaining Dax short posn.@ 9960 giving an av. of 9947 ----absolutely astounding performance from both Dow and Dax --incredible !!! ---GLA.

Of Course you're ordinary Broker may be able to short QPP for you but have no idea what commissions will be required or what date will be tagged to any position held ??

HashCode-------QPP is certainly not shortable thru' Finspreads , IG Index ,or Spreadco ---maybe thru' Spreadex ?? --- haven't got my account open with them anymore but Spreadex seemed to take on everything the others refused ( but at a price --usually a huge spread and high minimum amount !! ) -----GL.

Dax has performed remarkably well again in afternoon trade --half my posn. off the table earlier on ---half running ----profit takers have to step in soon on Dow and Dax ---US stock prices not sustainable at current dizzy valuations !!! ---JMVHO everyone ---GLA.
