Good Morning All ----non-farm payrolls today !!---is yesterdays all time high pre-empting good figures ?? ----- will today bring another all-time high or a sharp pull-back ?? -----------------the rise from the 16074 closing low to todays closing high is now the largest "single " movement since the initial 2009 recovery !!!! over 1500 points with no meaningful closing dips !!! a truly mesmerizing performance !! ----tomorrow may be a veeeeery interesting day ----- ( missed the spike and drop but just managed to nab a few points on the rise .) ---short now from 17560 --i must be truly insane --this ones's going to 20,000 in a straight line !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(lol) -----GLA.

Just me today then ?---tested 17400 successfully ( shorts and then subsequent longs on Dow and Dax all closed for a good haul today ) --good levels to work with at the moment ( 17400-17450/65 ) --trading Dax with the Dow seems to have worked better today ---GLA.

Dax long out @ 9320 , now short .-- Dow long closed @ 17479 , now short ----

Good Morning All -----Yes SirG , where is the top indeed ?? ---i would not rule out the Dow attempting 17500 or more before a meaningful consolidation !! --that would put it technically into RSI Overbought --it went well into overbought 5 times last year but as yet this year only once ( back in early january )----caution needs to be taken when going short now esp. with the japanese stimulus package just announced , cheaper money , oil and gold prices on a continual slide --- there does appear to be a line in the sand around 17400 , which it has justed bounced off again this morning !! i went short at 17440 early this morning and closed at 17410 for 30 pts, ---i'm out of the Dow at the moment and am watching the channel 17400 /17450 --i do have a small Dax long running again --but my opinion is that the biggest gains will eventually be seen on the Dow -- i wish everyone GL and good trading ---

Call me stupid ( if you must, lol) ) but Dow short just closed out @ 17323 ( 49 pts. --orders in just in case --but there is a gap up to the 17370 ish closing level ------------GLA.

SirG --- Oil has bottomed out historically between 75 --80 dollars a barrel --so a little more to go ,perhaps ?? -----it had a "buy" note out @ $81 with a s/l of $73 and target of $100 by early 2015 --at $78 i think a small punt may be worth it ----GL.

Dow short 17372 ---probably too early this time ?---down channel passes thu' 17380 as i post ---GLA.

SirG ---guess what i'm saying in a roundabout way is -- i don't really know no more than anyone else where it's going to end up but that's one of the methods i use to trade it !!! GL.

SirG --Knew you'd understand (lol) --closed short out now @ 17362 ( 48 pts) on oversold indicator --- time for a breather and a cuppa ---GL.

Sorry SirG ---meant it tested from upperside and held ---GL.

SirG ---look for the breaks of the trends/channels on the 1 min Dow ---from the 17400 high it broke the downtrend @ around 17365 ----it tested the channel from the upperside and failed --thereby reversing from downtrend to uptrend !! ---so i closed my short @ 16370 and went long ----only 25 points , i know , but now in profit going up !! ---just closed long on rsi overbought @ 17410 ( 40 pts) --short again now ----hope that all makes sense ---what it does is give me 65 pts . to play with if it continues higher against me ---one speck of bad news from anywhere this week and it will head south ---that's my firm and honest opinion -----BUT play safe as that's only my op. ---GL.

Dow daily hit RSI 70 ( overbought ) briefly at 14.07 pm( could only get in short @ 17395 ) --must pull-back futher than it has at the moment to set up for a santa -rally !! --GLA.

FP -- very well done on the Ftse short --Yes, weakness creeping back in again now --i'm still short the Dow and DOM ( that one is defying gravity-lol) ---out of Barc @ 243 p this morning with a good profit from 216 p --keeping an eye on it as lots of Analysts very confident ?? ----GL.

SirG ---yes --ditto.Closed both mine just @ 17325 ( 100pts & 73pts ) --would liked to have got more out of this but have orders in for the open !! --only selective stocks have risen in UK ---- my gold short still running and a small Dax long -----GL.

Afternoon All ----I'm ashamed to say i have only just surfaced from my bed ---at my age staying up most of the night definately takes it's toll (lol) ---SirG ;-- had no idea it would happen so soon !! but it is still the Futures being traded at the moment so wait and see what happens during normal trading ?? ---Ftse100 staying over 6500 , i see, altho' hasn't seemed to have much differeence to my stocks !! ---i'm glad i didn't close my gold short and firmly wishing i had a much larger position ---spells doom for gold if it stays under 1180/1200 ---hedging with a small Dax long as well again , so up a bit on that one as i post ------going to be very interesting very soon now !! ---GLA.

A very early Good Morning from me to everyone ---Incredibly the Dow Futs. have just hit 17400 and look like they want more ?? ---over a 1450 point movement in less than a fortnight ---from rsi 28.4 ( oversold) to rsi 68.2(near overbought ) ----set up for a drop ? or higher still? ---gone short @ 17398 --this is anybodies guess now ----GLA --and i mean that most sincerley folks (lol) -----

Yep--closed all mine out at 17159 for pretty much evens --my Dax longs made up for it ----a couple of orders in tho' -----GLA.

Wouln't be at all surprised now --all things being equal of course ---to see the Dow attacking the highs at around 17310 ish in a day or so !!--then again , things are very rarely "equal" in this game (lol)---GLA.
