Well -Dow doing a blinder , pity we can't say the same about the Ftse or Dax --hope we all bagged a few points today ? ---GLA.

I'm getting very dizzy now (lol) short out at 16705 (35 pts) .---short again at 16758 . --closed out at 16703 ( 55 pts ) --what a lot of hassle for 90 pts. !!! ---would like to see a close above 16700 ( would be very bullish ) --Dax closed above 8900 ( very bullish ) and Ftse closed above 6400 ( better ) --- GLA.

Please forgive me jumping the gun somewhat guys , of course i meant 16700 not 17000 (lol) in my last post ----SirG , yes , needs a pullback now to reload --may just get an up day tho' ?? ---i've just gone short @ 16740 so fingers crossed -----GLA.

Dow 17000 has shown a bit of res. at the moment ----got in and out ( finally) for another 81 pts . --16640 /16620 is the pull-back level i'm looking at for supp. -----good stuff at the moment ---GLA.

Damn the spikes (lol) ---just can't get in quick enough !!!!!----

Morning Everyone ---yes, very unsettled . Dow short got closed out for b/e and then couln't get in on this mornings spike as my Finspreads went into "lock-down " (blast it ) ---but got a short in at the break of 16600 again ----was looking for 100 pts. but have settled for 70 ----things looking a bit more bullish but keeping hold of 16600 is obviously crucial now !! ----------------GL.

Jolly --Just joking , yes a test of that 16400/16423 level could be seen now ---i'm in short again -----GL.

Jolly-----How dare you (lol) ---this ain't easy, bud, by any means (lol) ---GL.

GB / SirG ---Evening guys ,certainly still very unsettled !! went short at the breakdown of 16600 so banked a few points , but it's running me around now between the 16520 and 16500 levels --GL both.

Dow closed above important 16600 level --next couple of days will be significant for general overall direction in the weaker Ftse and Dax !! -- renewed weakness in the Dow would spell another leg down for both---Dow 16400/423 will be seen as significant supp. now if there is renewed selling ------------GLA.

Evening All ---- quiet on the board --hopefully means you're all busy making money out of this rally !! ---i'm busy chasing the Dow and Dax up ---how far they'll go is the big question ? ---FP, you must be rolling in the aisles with QPP --well done . --- . even spot Gold doing remarkably well !! ---needed to close above 1250 apparently to be bullish ? -----S&P above 1910 is bullish --Dax falling short of the all important 8900 by a whisker --Dow just short of the 16600 level ----GLA.

Afternoon All----just a quick post to bring this bb back onto page 1 ----things still very volatile , that's very evident !! ---no boring details just to say i've taken profits on most of my "in profit stocks" (new orders in) and tightened s/l's on others ---grabbed a few more pts. on RR this morning --chased the Dow up to 16500 early hours and got out (77 pts) ---in again now @ 16285 ----wish you all GL in your trading ------.

SirG ----hope you got out @ that 16312 level and then went long again ? nice trade if you did .----GL.

GB---yes, nice to see the rally ---will it hold into the close i wonder ? ---hope everyone has done well out of it today -i certainly have !! ---a few stock shorts closed and a few longs doing well ---Rolls Royce gave me a "testy" day ---but closed out eventually @ 828 p with good profits banked---hope to go again with it on monday ---Dow bounced nicely off its RSI @ 28.4 ----it has resistance around current levels ( 16381/ 16409 ish) --so tonights closing level and pattern will give a good idea for next week ---i'm out of the Indicies now until i see where the Dow's going with that 16400 level ----GL.

S&P500 actually above 1870 as i post ---very good effort , will it hold , i hope so ------long Dow again 16083, Dax long 8573 , Ftse long 6187.--watching three interactive charts aall at once is going to make be cross-eyed (lol) ----GL GB -----

GB ---yes, FP is probably racking em up as we speak !! ---S&P 500 making a bit of headway i see now --would be nice to see it close above 1870 tomorrow going into the week-end !! grabbed a 100 pts. on a limit Dow long and 94 pts. on a Dax limit long.--nice little rally there for while .---GL.

GB---all sounds fairly reasonable to me !! ----let's see GL .

SirG---you had a good cushion on that Dax long -just wondering why you closed out so early ?----GL

SirG ---at least you've got a good " cushion " with that level entry . Don't put me on too much of a pedistal , i have in the past lost a lot of money and continue to get it wrong many times !! ---since my losses in the 2009 wave down i have taught myself to use "shorting " much more effectively and do have a couple of websites i refer to every morning ( FX-Empire is a good one . ) technical Analysis is my main "trading tool" but in a downturn like this you have to pick some Fundamentally sound Companies as TA can go out the window along with the baby and the bath water (lol) -----i retired early-ish so i have time on my hands to indulge in this "sillyness" ---all the Indicies ( Dow, Dax, and Ftse100 ) are now oversold on their daily RSI's going back to 2009 . This doesn't mean there is a bottom in yet but gives an indication that we may see a meaningful bounce soon ? ---Dax does not have support untill down at 8150/8200 , so be watchful --but levels seem to be holding at the moment ---GL.

By the way ----Ftse100 just tested the 6060 ish level i mentioned ( 16082 ) and bounced twice ( fingers crossed ) ---Dow looks about to retake the 16000 level .----Dax is the only one not joining in with the fun and games at the moment (lol) ----gone from strongest european bourse to weakest ???----------GLA. , i'm off to enjoy this glorious morning sunshine and may even grab a cold fosters if you don't think it's too early guys ?? ------
