SirG ---probably not that much for the rest of today but i'd go with FP's 100 pts or so target ----suddenly everything looks Bullish (lol) --keeps you on your toes ---GL.

Dax hedge long closed @ 9155 ( 32 pts). ---a remarkable day for the indicies all things considered ---GLA.

Short Dow 17190 ---1,100 point rise in 14 days ---going down soon (lol) ----GLA.

FP --where's Jolly ?--we need somebody to blame (lol) ---GL.

FP --i cheated a bit(lol) and went long the Dax at the same time just to hedge against the Dow going higher !!--closed out for 36 pts . (lucky)--doubled up on Dow @ 17128 ( fingers crossed ) ---GL.

With you there FP --couple of points higher but i see the top ( hopefully today for now ) --GL.

Lol----and still they keep going --will have to set my limits a bit higher ( famous last words ) --usually gets to within one point and drops heavily the other way ---guess we've all been there before ?? ----

Jolly --- the obvious " turmoil" for a while there even tho' it was expected as you say --as always until it actually happens the "blinkers " tend to be firmly fixed !! --interest rate rises will be the next thing on everyones mind now ? ---i'm not too bothered as i'm "playing" the levels up or down ---would prefer them to go up tho' , it does make life a tad easier (lol) --- i will have to reduce my exposure to Ftse stocks as i have far too many in the 100 and 250 brackets thru' direct trading and Fund and Bond exposure ---time of year would suggest a continuation now thru' to 2015 but valuations are still high even given the drops from the high 6800's ---i'm getting more into alternative Energy Bonds and Online P2P lending --- looking at my other screen i see my Dow and Dax long limits have just been hit now so will have to go ---GL.

FP --- Dow spiking too fast !!--got in long 17005 and could only get out @ 16757 ( 52 points ) ---triggered me long Dax 9022 then out @ 8995( -25pts) --can't win em all (lol) ---both now above my "out" levels ( damn and blast " ---GL. ( time for some more caffeine !!(lol) .

Second Dax short closed out @ 9009 ( 8 pts ) --look to a break of the high or perhaps 9020 now before going back in ---GLA.

FP --Good Luck on the Gold long ---been short ( only very small ) since 1251 so may close out soon , don't know?? ----as i suspected the end of QE giving us some excitement ---my Dow long got closed out @ 17020 (119 pts) --short triggered @ 16990 and couln't get out till 16938 ( 52 pts. ) --long dax 9001 and again 8918 ( av. 8960 ) ---my DOM short still looking a bit sad --GL.

Gone in long Dow 16901 --left Dax for now --want to see 9100 re-taken first --GLA.

Well , the end of QE brought a bit of " turmoil " for a while there --grabbed a few points on my longs before going short on the break of Dow 17000 and Dax 9100 . ---out of both again now with a few points ---time to see which way the dust settles !! ---ending of QE was widely expected so a bit of consolidation after the recent gains should be widely expected as well ---( or so the "wise-ones " tell me !!) (lol) -----Ftse100 Futs. still over 6400 and more importantly still over 6450 ----GLA.

GB----have a good one ---i would say , don't do anything i wouldn't do , but there ain't many things i haven't done in my lifetime up till now thinking about it (lol) ---GL.

Good Afternoon all ----well my DOM short going the wrong way but i'm hanging in there (lol) ---triggered me long on Dow and Dax from yesterdays highs ( reasonably close s/l's ) ----GLA.

Fp / All ----evening all ----just closed my Dow long from 16900 @ 16996 (96 pts) and my Dax long from 9025 @ 9110 ( 85 pts ) ---Dow 17000 may see some res. first time around so banking good gains while i can !!--pity the old Ftse100 can't make the same amount of headway but my individual stock longs are doing well .---one short today and that's DOM again --little overstretched on all dma's so looking for a few pennies on a pullback !!-----GLA.

FP ----Morning , and well done ----quiet day hear yesterday !! Indicies very unsettled , but i'm doing alright on the Dow , over 16900 as i post --looks like 17000 is the nearterm target . Analysts are saying the Dow is probably going to be better value than the Dax now --we'll have to see ?? -- done ok on my Aviva, Esure, AHT and IMG longs ( so far ) ---may start to build on QPP myself as good noises coming from various different sources now !!-----GL.
