Gold up past that 1244 level and attempting 1250 ----- always the same when i've closed my position !!!! Looks like Sell in May might be the prudent thing to do again this year !! --- Thoughts anyone ??? --- Just bought a thousand carpetright , Optimus ----rubbish company , i know, but overdone now ---back to ten year lows at 300p , so who knows . Caught it on just an 8p spread ( now 17p) --- so only £80-00 down atm ( yikes ) -- It's only money and i've got plenty of that to lose ( ha,ha, ha ) --- i don't think !!!!--- GLA -------

Morning All :--- Optimus :--- yes, lack of direction after hours but you got a profit rather than a loss !! I'm still short with an in profit stop to give me at least 10points profit ---- that will have to do if it decides to turn north again . Nothing else doing much , i'm afraid, except going down (lol) --- Dumped half my IMG for b/e --gonna hold a few in case of a another bid --- Dumped Tesco for just a few pounds ---going nowhere atm--- Carpetright still heading south , as is St.Ives and Aviva ----- oh veh (lol) --- GLA -----

Could have got another 6 points from my Gold long --- past 1243 now ( blast it ) . Just gone short the Ftse100 at 6290 ( let's see if the guys from IG have got it right or not !!) GLA ----

Afternoon sir ---- Yes, everything dropping back now tho' --- may be the start of a deeper re-trace on the Markets , as they are all now below their support levels !!! " sell in may " coming up and then the referendum in june ---- not good !!! St.Ives still falling . I bought some PETS as well this morning @ 247p ---- just a punt to see if the Naked Trader has got it right again (lol) . If i hadn't got the share dips covered by the Dax shorts and Gold longs i'd be feeling like packing it all up and becoming a spoon whittler like the lady on the broadband advert (lol) . GL -----

Could easily see 110p or lower now before any recovery ---- just a technical view based on support . Goes without saying that every other technical indicator shows a share that is now oversold beyond belief !! Be interesting to see what happens after we get today out of the way !!!--- GLA _----

Morning All ---busy morning at the moment !! Optimus :--- still in Gold but closed the Dax short @ 10270 for + 150 pts. ( very happy with that ). It's rising fast off the 10225 ish lows atm --- i should have gone long (lol) . Got in Long IMG @ 161.2p --- just a couple of thousand for now to test that 160p support level . Also gone Long SIV ( st. ives) ---- the drop this morning seems well overdone so fingers crossed. Mothercare still in the doldrums !!!!!!! Aviva not moving much !!! GLA ----

Got in at 161.2p ----- it's tested that 160p support level three times this morning so only time will tell now . GLA ----- gonna need it .

Tempting again now as it approaches daily rsi oversold and that good historic supp1 level at 160p -- May be taking a punt come monday morning --- GLA ----

Don't know whether the official closing price for the weekend is 161p or 162p ( as above) but either way it would seem that the 160p i spoke of has not quite been tested !!!!--- Technically this one's a disaster on every indicator !!. It is , however, approaching daily rsi oversold now at the 160p supp. level so i have simply got to take a punt with a small Long posn. ---perhaps using the next good supp. level down ( 150p ) as a s/l . Just don't want to be out of this any longer in case another potential t/o hits the market !!!--- GLA ----- keep the faith !!!
