As usual it takes money to make money
there are a lot of plays out there which are on long term lows, with assets greater than current market cap, which could spike up - and as we have seen on some it can happen seemingly randomly on no news
if you have lots of available funds - you could quite happily put funds into multiple companies and just leave it. They are already on long term lows, so even if it drops further, chances are its not losing much but if a few move up it could be large uplift. Much bigger upside than downside. I saw a guy mention that he held shares in 64 companies!
However, for us with limited funds, you have to try and pick out just 1 or 2 and you have to be really lucky with your timing. So it's not really plausible. You can watchlist them though, as even if you are not in before initial spike, you could still buy in on the rise and potentially still get in for a smaller gain.
Hopefully though, with your future profits 🤞 you could start parking funds in a few. possibly just put £100 quid in a bunch and hope to build it up
