Fad, agreed. They are delivering, to a now proven business model, with producing wells in areas they said they would and look to do more of the same. And still people prefer to pile into all the aim oil and gas plays struggling to produce anything...

Steady, good post, agree with all said. People were concerned with dilution prospects and these wells will and are providing the complete working capital required to fund the company and staff overheads plus provide additional capital to be used in other projects or ED II etc. So many of the other oil companies everyone is obsessed with burn through cash and need placing after placing. These wells more than fund our corporate overheads and will provide additional working capital for the other projects even at the 7.5% WI. So I agree that progress on these wells will lift the SP, you can't knock that capital risk free revenue increasing.. News on the other projects would be most welcome of course, but you cannot under-estimate the work gone into this now proven model, we could just due with proven model part II now!

They wouldn't have put Rig 33 on-site unless we were going to drill immediately, and we know they going to drill the six out in a row, so that will start, if it hasn't already.... imminently. Would not surprise me to hear we have spud the 8th well, and also started the main drilling on one of them tomorrow morning. As for the completions, I'd expect them to start immediately after the drilling has finished, but might have to wait for the gas pipeline before they do.. That will probably be done in time to coincide nicely with the completion process. Any kind of agreement on the other sections would lift us, but not convinced we'll get that anytime soon. So it is... DTU - Progress -> Any kind of revenue from that! Helios -> Open up the 3rd frak stage and results on that. ED -> Renegade any positive development there. ED II -> Farm in / land deal / partners and % WI will be interesting when done.

Important to note you wouldn’t need to sell out to an entire partner! Eagle wells will be a couple of hundred thousand each..... not $5m!!!! Frak is done with water. Water comes from Dewatering the Muddy formation which we need to do to work that play. It’s the perfect play. Take water from Muddy, more that comes out more gas we get from that. Inject water into Eagle, hydrate the clay and leave it for 6 months to swell it and naturally fracture that formation.... Unlike ED with a 1280 acre section and “just” 8 wells. We have 220,000 acres. You wouldn’t need to give away and partner the whole acreage. You could do a bit if wanted accelerated revenue, but as soon as have enough you can pay for more aggressive drilling yourself and keep all of the remaining acreage. In short Helios will be more like 80-90% + kept as ours... imho. Just need to prove that 3rd stage when we release it....

So just sold 14123 shares with a limit order of 20.95 in Fund and share account as won’t let me do the trade at 21. As my isa buy is quoting me 21 to buy. Then it goes through as a sale at 21p, and then isa buy quote comes in at 20.9 to buy! Bargain!

Yes and we will do the same with the next section(s) ED II and the one after that.... We pay up front and let others take over.. As alluded to before the next one is less risky. We are proven. We have more options available on the table... Likely we will have more initial WI and come out the back end with more WI as a result. If you can put $x m into a field, deploy a couple of wells, then get the first 5-6 months revenue, then a nice cash payment (so all money back, potentially even a profit at that point) and then get a free carry on 10-15% of the entire reserves under the ground, risk free at that point, I’d say that’s a pretty good model!!!! Again. This proves the model. It proves once we get to the next project the back end and releasing those 10-15% of reserves would be ours quicker... The quicker these come online the quicker we get additional revenue stream. The rubbish point was around the ED wells news... thick and fast it will come from those wells and prove what a good decision that was. (Section 15-16) and how repeatable that model is..

B_a_b_a Of course we want news of the drilling and what a load of rubbish. The continued development of that section shows how quickly we can go once the stars align. The next project (hopefully minus renegade) will then be able to develop with established partners (financial) and drilling / pipelines etc. And we can see how quickly the drilling and completion can be done. Progression also makes that further revenue real... so of course we want the news.

Well after a shocking journey home and battery dying on phone, only really just catching up with all the days antics. Would have liked to have listened to the hearing but not going to bother now (tonight) as I know the non-result! I caught about 10-15 mins earlier on but then that’s it. Might listen to the Highlands part again tomorrow on the train / way to work, but having listened in for the SLB and previous COGCC’s not too much new news in there I imagine. As for the technicals comment. I *assume* that is suggesting chart based trading and groups of traders perhaps moving the SP around. If that’s the case then it will move back up just as surely as it came down here! Anywhere here for the gas, and or DTU as said countless times before. ED is a means to an end, and as alluded to by Sub, not a bad deal after all now everything is out in the open eh? And by gas I don’t mean troll gas! We knew there would still need to be discussions between the parties afterwards, so I guess nothing new there. I just hope they don’t drag on, or we can find our ED II and have that to concentrate on (bar DTU and Helios) while this plays out in the background and we finish the drilling campaign on 15-16. In all fairness shouldn’t nullify where we are at with the Southern sections. It’s clear we have been trying very hard to broker a deal, but Ed’s just holding out for whatever reason. All those calling out the BOD for no action will now be painfully aware what a ball ache it’s been getting to this point, it also highlights the deal with True and the other partners as a good deal. We have the ability to bring big finance to the table with our partners, so something still could happen with them, just don’t bank on it being immediate! In the meantime looking forward to finding another project to prove up, frak stage 3 in Helios, and our 3rd well of 8 being drilled out in a matter of days and on to the next one...

Interesting to note the Junior Oil Trust in March showed a .2% Fund value increase in HNR shares at 4.8% of Fund value compared to 4.6%. Not enough of a swing to think that’s them buying, just probably performance of HNR v the other shares in portfolio. April’s wil be interesting reading with the SP drop!
