Pecten11,
JS has confirmed voting rights over the holding he has declared, i.e. the positions he holds are for 13.7% of the company. 29m+ physical shares are to all intensive purposes, therefore held aside on behalf of John if he has voting rights over them. The fact a number are held in SBET positions is simply a very tax efficient way of protecting his investment.
One assumes at any time he can move the SBET positions back to the actual shares and no doubt will do at such a time the company share price has risen into many pounds he will be able to do that with no tax liability on the massive gains made.
A sensible time to do that would be in the future, at many pounds, and when dividends could be considered.
Alternatively at some point if he wishes to realise some of the massive gains he will make, he could even sell reportable positions in sizeable lumps of those held in the SBET position to an institutional investor / established fund, again without any tax implications.
He's a clever man. And as I read it he is simply protecting his investment in the most tax efficient manner possible.
At the end of the day, the notification states he has added circa 2m shares since the last declaration and that is the key aspect :-) Its all good.
He's moved his holding to a more tax efficient place, and has increased by 2m shares = lift going up.
And to every scumbag troll lying idiot on here.... He has not reduced but increased his position so back to the swamp for all the 1 poster trolls and those claiming he was selling or fuelling those rumours.
1.) Validation and confirmation of sell through, by a partner trolls said were simply marketing products to stores - not actually selling / distributing them.
Well actually, they are selling, amongst the best selling products they have and now firmly embedded in their wellness program in 343 stores, and I dare say ready to accept other products that Chill Brands Group produces....
This repeatable, monetising deal shows that Chill will continue to rollout, self-sufficiently and establish itself as the Global Brand it aspires to be.
2.) Chill Brands Group - "The International consumer packaged goods company"
Clearly now ready for the launch of its non CBD products as well as CBD Products. I would expect the Tobacco Free Nicotine pouches to launch before long and offer more SKU's for stores to be selling, and subsequently more $ to Chill.
3.) No mention of Buchanan.
The utterly incompetent and awful IR company that has assisted in the SP drop by remaining silent rather than getting out there and promoting the company are clearly all but gone now.
IR has entered a new era with Viridian clearly having an impact already in communications. If you haven't seen it already the video pinned to Chill Brands Group Twitter is a must see.
4.) The interview yesterday was a commentary on historical share price movement by a journalist. But you could clearly see Scott Greiper had set the tone for what was required to turn things around. The following morning we have this RNS, providing information that has been lacking, and ultimately exactly what he was alluding to happening. Confirmation of execution of things that said would do,, but as yet, invisible to the shareholders, until now.
Formal validation of the products from those responsible for distributing it, marketing it, getting it into stores and it selling it, store chain owners etc.
These things stand out amongst the most important things you can get and see. Visibility that things are indeed OK, or even better than OK.
IR has helped crucify the SP in the past, but as with all things that turnaround...Fixing it, addressing the issues, and communicating properly, alongside the validation and confirmation products are selling, new products are launching, and new products are selling will take this to new highs.
VAS's beloved TaaT = 1 Product line - Smokes with THC and CBD. 9 months sales at $1.75m with spend on IR and PR $7,274,756 alone....
Now he keeps piping up about how wonderful they are and how they have progressed so well.
TaaT = lower store count, lower sales, lower product types, less brand appeal.
Chill has multiple product types, more products coming, more stores in already, higher sales in $, with some instagram posts, and sponsoring a few Bull Riders, a couple of Rodeo's, the odd product give-away, and a few local radio shout outs..... In short nothing like $7.2m on PR and IR and achieve FAR more than TaaT have.......
Just for some balance........
Discount code: You can use TryChill on Chill website and TryZoetic on the Zoetic website.
Vas you are correct it is not a final destination, this is an INITIAL target, and once at 10,000 stores it will then continue to go to more stores. That next phase will no doubt be communicated closer to the March/April timeframe as it gets to the 10,000.
Thanks for also clarifying the goal to roll to the entire AATAC network in time......
Vascular. It is written in an RNS and at no point has it been retracted, it is therefore still the case.
You do not need to mention the number over and over again.
You do need to mention the number if it changes.
It has not changed, and it has not been notified it has changed. In fact it has verbally been repeated as still on and still happening.
As per RNS reporting requirements, it has not been mentioned again = it has not changed.
Vas, it is stated and it has not been retracted, and it has been communicated many times verbally since. That is all it needs to be.
It’s not discussing things “behind closed doors” or anything sinister. An AGM or GM is for shareholders, if you owned some you could go along…
These aren’t closed door secret squirrel events, you simply have to be a shareholder to attend.
However, publicly before then, many interviews have been made stating clearly, rollout targets remain, distributors are on board etc.
It does not need to be in an RNS any more than once for it to remain true.
Unlike many companies, Chill has previously gone about its business relatively quietly. In my opinion it has previously done a woeful job with IR, I’ve stated that many times before.
I expect the onboarding of Rhino and Viridian will dramatically change the PR & IR and up they will up their game substantially.
However, I don’t care if the next time they mention 10,000 is when they are in or have surpassed that many stores, and are kicking on to the next 10-15,000 after that…
…adding product lines like initially TFN products to the rang, and who knows what additional products after that perhaps..
Still thanks for bringing two massive positives up for for the company and for any new investors with the current SP opportunity again.
1) IR could be better - well it’s going to be with Viridian and Rhino driving IR & PR, so the company will be getting out there more.
2) The company still aims to be in 10,000+ stores within the previously mentioned timelines.
Anyway, got a busy day today as need to go out to play later.
T TFN …..
Vas, if you spent less time penning war and peace and basically trolling the company at every opportunity, disrupting the bulletin boards at every opportunity, you wouldn’t need to start a thread attacking a 10,000 store target as not being in an RNS when it has been.
The company has mentioned all distributors remain onboard, it has mentioned it is entering all locations previously discussed, and it has mentioned it still expects to get to that that 10,000 RNS’d store count.
Thanks for starting a thread to highlight that the company will be in 10,000 stores around March / April timeline, and don’t forget this is likely to be with more than the products being sold today as well.
I think if you look at the SP action you can see what has happened, and when, and what has caused those reactions accordingly.
If you then apply the reverse to those actions, you can see just how quickly it can move back up again!
It was overvalued at a ÂŁ as to where people thought it was - to where it was.
It had a finance balls up (LDA Deal)
It then had a 60p placing accordingly (addressed the above - but again - the finance issue was there at that time)
It then didn't hit the stores it said it would be a certain date - so this led to another drop.
It then drifted a bit, but with no further increases in stores notified (bar the circa 2500 in) it dropped a little over time.
It then had useless accountants delay the accounts, which then led to more alarmist noises made (such as some posters suggesting would be suspended etc)
You had a rushed preliminary with no explanation (big drop)
You had sales figures supplied which people assumed were negative as the numbers didn't increase every time - again people not understanding how things roll out, were stocked, and sold.
Alongside this you have had a totally useless IR company not produce any positive stories to combat all the lies and spin (that wasn't even required) driving a short attack.
The short attack would have worked (with the above in mind) regardless of all the lies and spin produced by some and trolling and BB attacks / disruption etc..
Basically a perfect storm of negativity that could be thrown about, was thrown about and the SP reacted accordingly.
So the recent positive news has been washed aside by sentiment of the above as I guess people want to see the actual impact in stores increasing etc.
Hence my previous post, visibility of things changing is what people clearly want to see. And my post is highlighting precisely what I expect to see happen, and why the reversal in SP action is to be expected.
All of the additions - Chill domain / Rhino / Viridian / BOD searches ongoing / new products being released / additional existing products going to be released in the USA are all progress, which zero value has been returned to the MCAP / SP accordingly.
It doesn't mean the company has stood still in the slightest, it has grown massively. It appears the CEO's saying in the AGM and GM that the distributors are all onboard and 10,000 is still the target itself hasn't moved the SP, as confidence is knocked.
But an RNS saying it has increased those stores, or is now increasing those stores, with those additional new products either in them, or on their way to them also, will be the catalyst for the sentiment to return.
All IMHO of course!
Seb,
I don't think people as yet understand this, and part of that is clearly based on the previous communications that have been made not helping with that.
At present sentiment is low, if the majority of people actually believed currently that we will hit 10,000 stores, and hit it with more than the initial products we were rolling the SP would be far far higher as you say.
The fact is the majority of holders with anything of note are holding, and some are happily nibbling away what is sold off.
The narrative needs to change and the sentiment will then return in a flash.
What people want to see is the rollout progressing and store numbers increasing.
What happens on the 1st notification on stores increase to x or y IDK. Sentiment should change and very positively, some will see it is time to pile in, some may not.
What happens on the 2nd notification when stores jump again, will be the "oh it really is going to 10,000 + stores etc" and I would expect a rapid rise accordingly.
A lot of the UK investors really don't seem to get CPG and how this will play out, and that is clear by a large number of the comments in shareholder groups as well as on the BB's.
The ability to not only roll to more stores, but for those stores and existing stores to happily take additional product lines from Chill, will be a real slap in the face wake up call for many shareholders when that is communicated it has happened or happening.
We all know the news flow hasn't been well managed to date, but markets have also been quiet, a number of companies are at SP lows which do not reflect their potential either short, medium or long term.
Chill is absolutely in that space. But I expect a number of fundamental changes to occur along with stores increasing towards 10,000 by the March / April timeframe. It will probably take some of the below to start happening to really drive the SP up, but up it will go.
1.) When next news is released it won't just be Proactive Interviews and a little bit of news then absolutely dark silence and a guessing game as to where at, Viridian will be driving US IR.
2.) Viridian and Rhino are providing the missing skills currently (and if people can't connect the skillsets and who these people work with on a daily basis to what is coming....)
3.) Appointments of BOD members to come which will validate Chill "oh they left x to join Chill" - Just look what getting people with experience on BODs does to raise profile.
4.) The impact of adding SKU's to existing stores, alongside stores increasing will provide a massive turnaround in sentiment.
5.) People buying that people follow. Sometimes it takes a little of that to make people stand up and take notice as well...
Just need to hear, in an RNS, that some of these things are happening and the IR to be promoting it accordingly. The clock ticks.
Nope no offense taken here and the changes already in play, are still in play, regardless of the voting!
It’s time to look forward to new BOD appointments from proven CPG backgrounds, moving onwards toward 10,000+ stores, launching new products, new distribution agreements, US IR picking up, and the transition of shares from the UK to US shareholders and eventually funds…
but they not getting mine…
Just a matter of time :)
RKBs futile one man crusade outvoted by my pension pot alone.
BB’s questions answered as expected.
That concludes the trolling on last years activities.
Let the rollout continue.
Goodnight
The FSA regulation when it eventually comes will assist the Zoetic range of products and of course the Chill Gummies as far as UK is concerned.
The TFN products should have no barriers to entry to any location, as they are not CBD, but I expect them to roll in USA to ~10,000 stores along with the existing CBD chews and CBD smokes.
At this point the company will probably look to push on in the USA towards a much larger rollout, and hopefully by then the FSA will also have pulled its finger out and UK distribution can begin with the products they have deals for here.
Understand what you have invested in and the markets and the various regulatory bodies…
Unless people are marketed at to eat the smokes and they are sold as something to ingest as opposed to inhale you will not see the FSA /EFSA “Novel Food” type of restrictions apply to smokes.
There are CBD guidelines such as recommended CBD intakes (75mg a day in UK) so how they market these will be interesting!
Also THC is very strictly controlled in the UK and still very taboo in many circles here.
There is a distinct difference between the smokes we have here and those they want to sell here, also TaaT are ALL about the smokes and we are not.
We have multiple product lines, soon to be another one, and with Chill there are many more we can add to that space.
The main thing worth highlighting is the MCAP difference between TaaT (one product range / terrible brand name) and Chill, already with multiple products including one which will have zero restrictions (TFN) and is more stores than them, bigger distribution deals than them.
What Chill lacks compared to TaaT is additional BOD members (Viridian to all intensive purposes effectively are now filling in / advising and providing what has previously been lacking, whilst seeking BOD members who will bring the corporate side up to speed.
Chill has so much more to it than TaaT and they will operate in two very distinct places, the “Chill” space is there for the taking with “Chill”
The transition from tobacco products to non-tobacco products is already well advanced and underway. Nicely branded (Chill) alternative lifestyle products will make a lot of headway in this space.
In general there was a comment made by Viridian on the migration from tobacco to tobacco alternatives, and also there is one of alcohol towards THC, as peoples "methods of chilling" change over time with legislation etc.
Clearly Viridian represent players in the cannabis space, as well as the CBD space, and the tobacco alternative space, and I think this was a more generalised comment.
Nobody is suggesting CBD will replace alcohol.....
The simple fact is Chill, either in its products, or even the reselling of others, are in that "lifestyle space"
They have their own products and can continue to bring out pretty much anything "Chill" as time moves on, they can also look to sell others products in the "Chill space" that don't directly compete with its own product lines, with the Chill web domain.
The trolls have continued their argument from first laughing about "flogging CBD out of garages" to then knocking the CBD market in general, to underestimating the tobacco cessation market, to then acknowledging it, then suggesting big tobacco will consume all in this space etc....
The trolling will continue to change from one narrative to another, but as the "non-linear rollout" moves into its next phases the "no updates / no numbers" narrative will fade and die, just like the "no stores" argument before that.
The company will still hit its 10,000 store target, on time, and it will have a non-linear rollout...
The translation for the above is to simply expect, at any point, a "Chill is in X stores", which is significantly above the previous store announcement, and then the same to happen again.
The shorts will not get a period of time in which to correct their positions, because it won't be "we are rolling again at x00 stores a week"
Things will jump in chunks, and alongside additional stores, will be additional SKU's appearing in stores, and online.
Now the SP has remained in this range, having not priced in the Rhino Marketing tie-up, not priced in the Viridian tie up and not priced in or understood the non-linear rollout, nor the TFN product announcement.
I would imagine stores going from the previously announced 2500 towards 10,000 in a short period of time, alongside new products being in those stores, alongside an IR drive in the USA... to put quite the squeeze on any short positions.
To put in context, being in 2,500 stores with 5-6 SKU's (3 flavours of CBD chew pouch, and either the 2 CBD Isolate Smokes or those + Hemp Smokes) is one thing. Being in 2,500 stores with 8-9 SKU's (The TFN pouches in one strength being added) is practically the same as a 50% uplift in stores from the original distribution deal(s).....
It's just a waiting game...
Sensible post Obstando, it's all about the future not the past!
Has nothing to do with competition, which by the way they don’t compete with our 3 main product lines, and was just pointing out what a joke the company is, look how much company (investors) money Dan B partied away…. That is why they are a joke…..
Ignite is an absolute joke btw - just look at its financials over the last few years and see what Dan B spent and on what!
Our CEO’s have a $100,000 a year salary…..
Now please don’t mention that shambles again on the Chill BB!
Chill Brands Group does also have the Zoetic brand which has bath oils, cosmetics, as well as tinctures etc…
