The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Agree with both your pragmatic financial assessment and your political beliefs Damo.
My other half works in social housing and the situation is really bad. There just simply isn't enough housing being built. The NAV drop is a blip IMO and will correct in a few years.
This Is what I'm banking on, the US and the brand taking off with celebrity endorsement etc.
Chinese buyers could make good money from those mines selling to China, India, etc.
My gut is telling me a 30 to 50 percent discount but that's pure conjecture on my part. Only way is to sit and wait but if Kaz side is worth £3 and then russian side sells for like £5 that's still a crazy profit for me.
What I get from that is that we're gonna sell it cheap but it's not gonna be crazy cheap. It's unrealistic to expect full value but at the same time it's crazy to think that a gold mine will be worthless.
I feel like Nesis is the man for the job and any deal he gets will be fair value for what we have. We've got a few serious buyers so there will be an element of competition to get a fair deal which is great.
My main bet is on the USA; once it becomes big there it will snowball all over the world.
Spot on Alex.
I was thinking this morning that investing requires courage and patience, which are qualities many people lack. First sign of trouble and people go into meltdown and then become irate at the slightest set back.
This stock will come good eventually IMO but it might take a few years for which many are not willing to wait.
I live near Derby where they have many sites and they have a world leading apprenticeship program. They will train new engineers and RR is a great company to work for, so they won't struggle getting workers IMO. Very prestigious company to work for as an engineer.
Is there not also scope to convert properties into flats? I'm considering a purchase but the one thing that concerns me is a blockbuster type scenario with offices .
I'll echo Jotom's comments by saying that the management here have done a fantastic job and kept the wolf from the door. Whilst I would live a dividend I have full faith in the management here that they will pay a dividend when it is safe to do so.
Stay positive people; we have a business that is still strong and it's basically a miracle. POG dead and Evraz sanctioned and we're like ninjas ducking and diving to survive. Gi e it a year or two and we'll all be smug gits with a multi bagger in hand.
Good things come to those who wait
Results were as expected IMO. Lots of developments but too soon for this set. Give it till next set and should aee a rise. At least they are making money.
Not sure, might be too soon for big numbers but I expect a slight improvement with a chunk of debt paid down.
This is where the windfall tax shows itself up. Right now we could boost domestic supply but it's bever going to happen with the windfall tax in play.
I think maybe they know the oil days are numbered so they're planning to restrict supply as an ongoing plan for the next 20 to 30 years to make as much money as possible.
Agree Sully,
I've actually decided to raise my target from £3 to vague figure between £5 and £10. Small engines, SMR and increased military spending could send this stock to this moon.
Metom,
In some ways it's easier to hold something that is down than hold a profit. I'm currently at around 14k from 7k on this and the temptation to sell and lock in that profit is real.
I constantly question my thought process in an attempt to stay logical. As soon as I feel fear and question it.
I've got 13k at 65p which is a large holding for me.
My intention is to hold on for the future. These seem outrageously cheap IMO and they'll be like other fashion companies that were on the rocks only to become household names. I see the US as the key and the celebrity endorsements as boosting overall sales. They're building a brand and once they get there they can start exploiting all kinds of revenue streams.
hopefully I can buy some more; I would like to get to 20k before it takes off. Will buy at any price below 40p.
GL all
My mate sold at 150 after making a tidy profit. I told him to hold because it was going up again. I still say it's going to £3 at least.
As long as the dividends keep coming I'll keep buying.
