I'm sure you can buy them somewhere but most of the retail providers HL etc have blocked purchasing since the redom business
I read the Wagner leader is taking a anti war line now.
I think he knows that he's a dead man either way. If Wagner are absorbed into the army he becomes superfluous. He's taken the only logical choice, which is to attack Moscow and take an anti war line. This way he can get support from pretty much every country in the world. BRICS and NATO need this war to end and need Russia to be stable.
GLA and hopefully this is the end of all this madness.
I'm gonna do nothing but hold what I have. I don't even know where I could buy anyway.
Definitely going to be interesting and this can only end badly for Putin. Even if Wagner fail Russia will be badly wounded. Hopefully Ukraine take this opportunity and exploit it to it's full extent.
I saw Gordon Brown at the coronation and felt a pang of sadness. You know it's bad when you miss Gordon Brown.
How does it work with telegram? Do you just search polymetal or do you have to get a link?
Wishing I got the certificate now. I've got ones for Poly although I'm not sure if it matters long term since the business us sanctioned and therefore cannot pay a dividend or move to a different country.
TBH I agree with Mr share; they had a plan and it's now starting to swing to the upside. People (including myself) are just impatient. I bought a while back expecting a sudden boom only to be met with a crash. Will be good to get back to even.
Once debt is down and production up I'm sure price will follow.
It makes labour and local goods cheaper. I'd say good for us because we can extract cheaper.
I'm sure Nesis could get a Russian buyer lined up. Even if we have to sell at a steep discount. Seems to me like cutting russian mine is the best option right now. Putin is clearly desperate with this kind of move. Economy must be tanking big time.
Computershare act as registrar in the UK so when you have certs they will contact you for votes dividend etc. Once it moves to AIX you'll need tabys app in order to do the same.
If you have certs your name and address are recorded and when they move your name and address will move from the LSE record to the AIX record.
It's hard because I want to buy more at this price but I promised myself I wouldn't risk anymore on it. I'm reminded of peter lynch's words about "whisper stocks" but I'm just gonna hold and if they go to zero then so be it.
I'm just wondering if Nesis can convince Putin that the redom will help Russia. It's like we're bringing the mine away from the UK in into a friendly country, so that surely must score some brownie points with Putin.
In some regard it might help us if they took the mines from us assuming we can dodge the debt if contained within the LTD structure.
I agree though; Nesis is definitely our number one guy and I would definitely buy him a pint or a coffee if I met out and about.
TBH I don't want the price to go up. I'd like to just continue buying this and other cheap REITs all the while they offer high yields.
Ditch trading 212 set up an ISA and just stick a grand or whatever you can afford on RR shares. Then just wait a few years. Day trading is for serious nerds.
I would avoid any leveraged trading unless you're 99.9% certain of a big move. Which is really hard to do. Most that trade like this successfully either have insider information or they're all out economists. Also the bets tend to big on big things like currencies or the FTSE 100 or bond yields.
Great post. I 100% agree in regards to the latest drop from 50s to the 30s; we're in the same boat, Which is a great company in a terrible climate waiting on a big investment (US distribution) to pay off. It's just a waiting game.
Reminds me of that movie about the girl that sailed the world. There is the scene where there is no wind for days and she's loosing her mind. That's what the stock market is like at times. In some ways no wind is harder to tolerate than a storm because at least with a storm there is something to occupy your mind.
I've found that most of these boards have multiple posters that fit this category. I normally just try to find what information I can.
I recently topped up because I'm thinking the SP is low, there's a regular dividend, share buybacks are boosting value and we have a quality management team. It's a solid bet IMO.
My thoughts exactly. Although it will still be squeaky bum time until the business is in Kaz and split up. At this point I would be quite happy if we could dump the Russian part and lose the debt, leaving us with just the Kaz mines.
