The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Sorry wrong stock I'd expect £3 by 24/25 £7 would need some SMR cash IMO.
It could go anywhere although £7 2025 seems a bit of a stretch maybe 2028.
Cheers onbe,
As far as I know from reading the PDF poly gave us. If you're on the register everything moves automatically. Tabys is just a means to facilitate dividends etc in the same wat as ckmputershare do that in the UK.
I would assume HL holders would still end up with polyR and polyK just that they can't sell them, so the Russian side might end up redundant if they can't pay dividends due to sanctions.
Investor6 the issue is with payments. They need an IBAN to pay the dividends which requires access to crest banking system. Potentially they could set up a separate system PayPal or something to sort it but I'm not 100% aure how that would work or if it would even be legal. I'm tempted to dump the Russian part once it splits just because of the legal aspects of it all. Might get a decent price on AIX formit since Kaz citizens won't care about UK sanctions.
I would imagine they'll sort the move and the split before they pay dividends. They need to get the Russian side out first because it's sanctioned, once they have done that they can pay a dividend from the kaz mines. Might be a year before we see a dividend.
It would be nice though I could do with the cash TBH.
No advice unfortunately, I didn't get paper shares either but I don't think it matters much since they can't move under sanctions anyway. Plus if they pay a dividend your broker will have to send it through. I think it will get released late ron but will probably 5 years plus.
I also hold Evraz I've not fully given up on it though. I think they still have a chance post war to be released from sanctions.
Don't worry, I had to select Channel islands on the top right on the website.
Anyone tried to set up account with Computershare? It doesn't appear on the list of companies. I've got my certificate and SRN but can't seem to register.
Not had mine but I do believe your broker is irrelevant since it polymetal that send the certificate not your broker.
Que the music,
**the final countdown**
If Barclays offed that I'd have stayed put but the certificates are en route.
All countries have laws and Kaz financial laws are based on UK laws so I'm not too bothered. You've got to be in it to win it and I'm in!
Plus I think Tabys is literally for companies to use like this, similar to when employees get a share account just for company shares and nothing more.
Guy,
They're creating special accounts for Poly shareholders.
Can't say I'm surprised. IMO it's like a choice between life and death. It's no way to business with the sword of Damocles hanging over your head.
Cheers all,
At least it's normal to wait this long. I hate waiting for mail because I always worry it will get lost.
Anyone know how long for certificates to arrive in the post?
Thanks Chique,
This has probably been the most stressful share I've ever owned. However I am determined to continue to hold and ride it out. This will be my first ever stock held as a certificate. I am looking forward to receiving it and hopefully a dividend will be forthcoming.
Stan, just get a passport and live a little :p
