'“Saw one of the folks on the chat asked about the 21 drilling locations. These are 21 individual seismically observed structures with Herrera sands that we will tackle post Royston. All are exploration targets. These 21 sites are not development wells to what have been discovered already.'
'Cascadura is a large connected container that will require multiple development wells to drain that huge pool.'
'The lower cruse at Cascadura area may be tested in future wells to better understand the extent of this shallow pool

There are also Herrera sands between 4000 and 5000ft that were not tested in Cascadura. These will be evaluated in future development wells.

The reserves for Cascadura is solely calculated for the two teat zones. Not the shallower Herrera and not the Lower Cruse.'

Paul Baay has been talking of 100000mcf/day and 2500/day liquids from Cascadura alone (using 2 or 3 wells (they will have 2 with Cascadura deep)) plus 10000mcf/day from Coho, and TXP get 80% of this. So approx 88000 mcf/day + 2000bopd /liquids for Cascadura and Coho plus the approx 1500 bopd per day of existing production.
Revenues of perhaps $3 per mcf and $45 oil.
Not sure exactly on netbacks but perhaps $2-1.8 mcf for the gas and $20 per barrel of oil.

Yes, at the next q&a I'm keen to ask for some more info on the other prospects they have identified and how they relate in size to something like Cascadura.
If even 2 out of the next 3 wells are successful then £3/4 is too cheap imv.

Too many variables to predict a price at this stage.
If Chinook comes in something like Cascadura then they could be generating cashflow greater than the current market cap in a year or two. Even if it doesn't, once the cash from Cascadura (+ the second Cascadura well and any other successes in the meantime) starts coming in then they can potentially drill a new Ortoire exploration well every month or two.

Re gas prices, in this week's investors chronicle (where txp is tipped) it says 'Touchstone's chief executive, Paul Baay, says direct sales to Trinidad and Tobago’s National Gas Company (NGC) will keep prices at least at the level forecast in the reserves evaluation' which I assume refers to the pricing on page 3 of the reserves report https://www.touchstoneexploration.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/July-20-2020-06-30-2020-Cascadura-Reserves-TSX-FINAL.pdf

Good to hear of different approaches. I've bought a few more this week and have an average in the mid/ low 20s.
Chinook may of course disappoint either with some technical issue or with the test result although I would be surprised if it was completely 'dry' given previous historic results.
I'm happy to hold given the development plan at Cascadura for approx 100mscfd and 2500 bopd liquids at prices of say $1.50 plus for the gas and approx $20 netbacks for the liquids at $45 ish oil price (plus cash from coho).
That alone will more than justify the current market cap imv and provide plenty of cash for more exploration on the block.

Buffy, I had some crazy figures running around my head the other night. If all the stars align, more oil/gas is found in Cascadura deep (say 50% more than per current well), Chinook is similar to Cascadura (including deep) but the pool is much larger and Royston (or other prospects) comes in then your proposed valuation looks very achievable.
I'm wary of getting ahead of myself but love the risk/reward at these levels.

It was mentioned in the proactive interview yesterday. Rig mobilised this week, hoping for spud in last couple of days in July.

Just listening, I think he said we think it will produce around 500bcf, I think he was referring to the Central block that has already been in production and on the presentation it has 500bcf natural gas over the Central block
