Ltd/Volvie: Next time either of you are on here, could you please share any up to date valuation you have please of the Vela portfolio ( shares held, current SP et c) with estimates for the unquoted portion? Please.

Volvie and Ltd are right. Not always the investments but rather the timing and pricing. Peterhouse influence them too much I reckon. It is stupid for Bloggs to accuse Volvie is “like the board” because he states a fact. Really stale nonsense ‘joey’! I’ve made money out of a good few Vela investee side bets. Do wish I’d bought into CODE early too.

CDT though is currently a disaster unfolding, but as always I remain optimistic.

To kill any remaking Nasdaq SPAC bubble the biggies all sell out in style and buy back cheap. Throttling the SP, leaving early holders feeling ill. The Russell timing and their need to stay in is linked to the timing. They can’t afford to ignore it *just in case* any of the IP becomes a cure and cash cow. But they hold it in mind as having a current value of only, say, 25c.

There will be some. Did a little myself but kept 90% of my combined holding. Will sell half at about 4 for the retirement and hold the rest until it is sold to big pharma in 2027 .

Ltd: good point. The portfolio is looking up in places.

Stick to Yorkshire businesses should be their rule of thumb! They should have bought Ciz ( York based) instead of CDT and Igraine. Although, the guy behind CDT led the initial float of Ciz so who knows. Maybe there is a cunning plan invisible to us mortals.

You can quote as well as the rest of us. Well done. From what I understand there was a long delay in the registration process and paperwork on the part of CDTs registrar.

Either way whether you are wrong or I am right it makes very little difference to the real-time losses we are all ( assuming you have shares) are holding. Let’s hope July brings some positive news for CDT and we all find an explanation for the apparently crazy selling over the last six weeks.

CDT hits 70 cents. Sugar! Thanks goodness it is a holiday tomorrow but will it survive today and Friday. The UK investments are looking up and with a new govt and gradually reducing interest rates “things can only get better”.
