Agreed. The change is the thing to note and the research into the company. If he wants volume of trades try HE1, great news RNS, over billion shares traded and price dropping fast.
This business has niche clean energy interests with refining partners locally and great profile in local and regional government. Due a serious re rate.
Having said all that, anyone who fancies averaging down at this point should maybe speak to their IFA and divorce lawyer first. US market reopens tomorrow and could be the day of CDT news.
The business exists and continues in a manner of speaking. No point selling below 0.0015.
Also the Hamak play is quite interesting if read carefully. Hamak is on the main market. I think there is life in the old dog yet. But there is no denying it is a dog.
Current SP is half that. Even if Mode fizzles and CDT goes bang, the valuation hardly changes. ENSI, FINSETA, Code, Skillcast, Aeristech all great businesses. Tribe too.
Agreed. I’m hoping Monday we take it to the vet, feed it fresh fish and cream, stroke its head and it purrs cheerily to $3.73 at which point Vela sells the cat entirely and it is instantly put down. Or it could just roll over and die. My building society accounts and properties are less entertaining than Vela but much more like investments!
Took a risk to monetise the St George’s investment. CDT in a state due to Director conduct. Is some legal action required against CDT or the CDT Director in question? If the CDT investigation concludes he misstepped and precipitated the drop then that is a green light for action. Closer to home, Vela needs a plan or a major deal to turn this around. The biggest investments after CDT are doing well.
Unclejim: maybe think your statement through a bit. If a Director of CDT was selling down big and pushing the price right down, and this was done in secret ( as CDT are now investigating) then Dr T would by definition not know about the secret activity and ergo could not tell Vela about something he knew nowt about! Yes the price is terrible and yes Vela is in a terrible place et c et c I agree….
