I’m quoting their IR guy and have no reason to disbelieve. The pre market suggests a new phase in the shorting game, or an early news awareness this side of pond. May be worth watching the SEC list today ( or not! Anyone’s guess with CDT)

But…..CDT is a concern. I’m not too keen to see bears behind trees about their admin and as they are 90% insider owned the organised shorting is having a dramatic impact. You have to hope for news and partnerships and funding streams. I’m told newsflow will be busy late summer and ‘fall’.

In recent years Northcoders is our best investment by far and we own a decent chunk. It goes from strength to strength. There are few other glimmers of hope , FIN and Aeristech, possibly a residual value from Mode next month.

In a terribly pessimistic mood ( the sun has vanished for now) so placed a limit order on CDT at a low (lower) price.

Judging by a couple comments on Yahoo there is a concerted shorting game going on here ( CDT) to push the price low, buy low and then ( they hope) make a killing. I’m tempted to buy in again but worry about losing it all. Mmm. Will ponder awhile. GL to others.

If we believe CDT will recover ( and part of me does) then it may be a good time to buy vela. Finestra is heading for 60p in time and I’m sure Aeristech will float now that capital is starting to move a bit more. CDT quite busy in the pre market today and early too. Suspect another big volume day, what that means for the price is anyone’s guess.

A good start to the day. I was a little late today otherwise would have sold a few thousand quid of Ensi at opening high. Calming down now. But is is fully funded and getting very large orders. Code is doing amazingly well. I’m not sure if I know enough about the “why?”. Either way a re rate for Vela would naturally follow were it not for the CDT drag.

Yep, looks like CDTs bounce is delayed. Oh well. Will hold for now. At these prices we may end owning more than Vela.

Another question for anyone tempted to test a few quid in CDT is whether you stick or twist? If it picks up to $1 you win but you could miss on any pick up to $10! SPACs are casino quality ‘trades’ in my view, but it is the weekend!

Agree Big Dave, I’d prefer a cash out or RTO. More of the same would be too risky. Insufficient scale.

Ltd: yes and if with an unbelievable amount of luck CDT ever got back to $3 or $10 imagine the transformation in Vela’s fortune ( and it is more fortune than strategy!).

CDT is 90% insider held so the free float is tiny and goes some little way to explain the impact on price the current churn is having.

Vela may have an unusually interesting day.

( and with Bloggs blocked it makes for a nice occasional view of the comments)

Ltd: Weshop and Aeristech maybe add £750k. Deduct 75k for running costs. Think TSP and Tribe will go big, Aeristech too. CDT anyone’s guess but I may be about to test.

I recommend muting “Bloggs” it makes for a better day. There is enough to worry about in Vela without daft and odd posts.
