Did say on this board a few weeks back that ALK and MAC were the things Vela needed! But GEM E will do for now.

Has my full support as does the board for now. I have shares in ALK and MAC and MUSH. Alchemy capital and Oscillate both have nice RNS today. Look at ALKs little rise. Get into green whilst you still can. Battery storage is big growth too. Plenty of examples to follow. We could have done with being earlier but at least we are in now. DYOR.

I’d say it is 90% cert that two or more outfits are mulling it over and 55% likely that a bid arrives after US thanksgiving holiday. Idle speculation but then capitalism is mainly that.

On Vela’s other bigger ( by % in investee) holdings Northcoders seems to be experiencing choppy sentiment waters and drops caused by nonewsflow, Aeristech remains mysterious but has neat tech and great customers, we don’t mention CDT of course. Here’s hoping green things bring green shoots via Helium mining and battery storage.

Thanks Dave. So they are all simply technical holdings reductions caused by an enlarged total and therefore their holdings being arithmetically smaller. Got you. That has fixed my worry beads. Be ironic if Vela’s best investments turn out to be two sourced b6 their pals at KING! Fixit looks nice too ( if a catheter related product can ever be ‘nice’)

Jimmy, not quite sure why you say Mush has dipped its toe into Vela. It already had 28% of 10% of it via its chunk of King. In fact King just sold half that holding so any toe dipping has just reduced massively. By the way your Duke Capital tip was a bit of bad one wasn’t it?

Wouldn’t like to guess but certainly the success so far may seek others to view and consider, equally their size may become limiting with certain big orders in certain markets, so the directors may consider opportunities for M&A. But even without it external interest it remains a rare gem in a very variable market. Must be at least 20p below real price.

And since then some biggish sells , a very strange day to sell given the selling price is still basically a third of NAV.

Agreed. Usual bit of profit taking and short termers exits on the earlier spike.

I’m hoping the near term settled price stays at around 2.3 from there to build on further annouNcements. The Bio one is a few weeks then the year end one then next April.

Certainly does. A solid and growing small business at bargain prices, not sure why everyone is missing the point and looking for quick wins and losses elsewhere.

Excellent RNS and move into a progressive, government backed technology. Igraine now has three decent innovative investments.

The Hamak situation is actually good as it leaves us in a better position if Hamak succeeds or fails!

The progress we all expected and were promised. A few days and weeks are neither here nor there for a disease that has been boiling for rather a lot longer. Pharma is never quick. Upwards to 5p and beyond.
