For me it is a solid growing business with IP and either needs to manufacture itself or grow and sell to one of the biggies. The results were fab except for the small technical loss.

Losing a few k a month for a single year is trivia and easily fixed by one designer exit!

The suite of figures in total are good to great. But yes “this is a loss making business”…..this year.

Remain a buyer.

I seem to recall BlackRock first taking and 3xtend8ng positions as part of Tysons plan to move the SP to 250, 300 et c and become a bigger player. With the bad Stadium purchase and exit and the SP drift and Frances failed financial engineering they’ve had a rethink. Irrespective I believe in the c9mpany and the inevitability of a takeover. Offer at 125 plus, then a negotiation or battle gets it to a sale price of 150 cash per share IMHO

Waiting now for a low to buy back in when today’s excitement dies back.

The story from CdT premarket is a few bought having seen the patent news then sold again having seen the debt restructuring news!

I’ll look in at 1430 but otherwise reentering my freeze chamber with the clock set to wake me up on 2034 when Vela announces a new board, its first genuine profit and its share price rises to 0.05.

I’m pretty convinced now that the £10k buy is from a beneficiary of the CDT leak. With a HQ is London and San Diego my bet is that Bligh writes the RNS in London. AM , it leaks, then is posted lunchtime UL ready for the US open. Same thing happened in August.

To bet £10k means a belief that CDT will rise and therefore Vela. Highly unlikely I’d say but really hope I’m wrong.

Would dearly love to know who and why invest 10k today. Surely not the CDT re finance news? That is still a fragile enterprise.

Indeed. The warning signs were there. Regan was there. The history of SPACs were there. Should have sold as soon as the shares registered. Negligence and poor judgement are close bed fellows. The only sensible option now is to sell CDT unless they have a new strategy of holding for the ( very) long term.
