Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
So long as we don’t get notified of another acquisition which needs a rights issue , we might be alright tomorrow. Would prefer to sell the company after we know the amendments to the EPL , as I think someone else can use the losses better and we can maximise the money for shareholders.
Agree , it’s gone ex-div today, but other insurers are up this morning and the buy back is also helping out as well . Perhaps it can go back to 440p over the next few months with a sector rerate as banking crisis fears subside, but I thought this would get to 475p by end of year/early next year anyway based on next years dividend .
I thought Tesla batteries lasted about 10 years ? . £31k seems good value , depending on how much miles it has already done. Maybe KO can put it on autotrader to view. Replacement battery about £18k ex vat plus labour ? . Think a Lexus hybrid might be a better option .
If the Fed does 0% or 0.25% tomorrow, then the US markets will rise on Wed afternoon , so UK financials including Aviva should rally on Thursday , 440p on Friday ? , Just depends if /when the S&P financials rally back to where they we earlier in the month . Not sure our buybacks are helping that much at the moment , Will have to wait until the selling volumes decline much further.
They should have bought much more yesterday am . Anyway hope this gets above 440p before it goes ex div , Med term target of 475p this time next year . Possible further buybacks after this one completes will also be on the cards / up for discussion towards end of year.
Buy backs are getting great value today but we will probably need a few months to recover. I guess I will probably buy some more when I get the dividend money in May and hope we get back to 450p by end of year.
Dividend yield looks attractive at this level.. so topped up at 259p . Together with the 270p batch bought yesterday, I'm now wondering when the buy back scheme starts.? . Oil price looks oversold, so that could bounce back next week.
