BTW I added again yesterday hoping we had reached some sort of low!

We have a market cap of £111m, debt of approx £11m, covered divi 11%, decent (appreciate that this is a subjective term) management team, WTI at $81, great geo location etc and today £123k stock is traded and we drop 5% and look to be heading towards covid-era lows. What am I missing? Why is this stock so shunned?

Can anyone throw light on why current directors have not invested in their company? Until recently only the outgoing CEO had a decent investment. The CFO / new CEO has barely anything. Any constructive thoughts appreciated

A great result today. Thanks to all those who have worked hard to bring about the changes and supported the resolutions.

#hmm yes but have a look at Ken Gilmartins buying history. Over the last 2 years he has bought in excess of 1,000,000 shares, averaging an sp of abut £1.50. If WG goes at £2.4 he’s had a good day at the office. He’s backed his own abilities and good for him and fortune favours the brave, and hopefully all WG holders.

Absolutely love a trim and add opportunity. Have got my average down to £1.07. Looking forward to further opps to add here at improved price. WG are looking wounded and in need of a serious buyer. Might happen in the months to come.

@eggs At some point we will reach 340 and hopefully much more but its not going to be a straight line. And even if this were to be the absolute exception (which it wont be) I,m still holding a slab, so its win win. Averaging down is the way to exponential growth. GLA what ever and AIMHO

@shaf - I also trimmed @ 289p prior divi and still expect sp retrace. todays increase is on back of very weak volume, the geopolitical noise / +ve WTI giving the up move. Fall back next week to 240s or if lucky 220. GLA LTH HBRs AIMHO

MaryBr, was referring to your formula. If only there was also a formula for getting the timing right. I have tried to follow the Anna Coulling and her VPA strategy which does provide additional support for entry / exit.

Amazing how some punters think they know more about the timing of a run than the CEO who has substantial experience and knowledge of the industry, access to all the numbers as well as the mood within the C-suite.

One would imagine he's taken soundings on financial support before starting the move and would not have started if he thought that it had little chance of success. The sp has moved towards him recently which is fortunate!

As others have posted it looks like JD or no one.

If JD doesnt have the support within the board its going to be difficult for him to wrest control (and probably wouldnt have got this far anyway), unless of course the price offered is substantially above current sp - and why would he do that?

Hoping for a pleasing result for us all.
