Kenny G has in excess of 1m shares at a cost of in excess of £1.5m. He is not going to let this go at a personal loss to his own investment ie under £1.50. Of course an agreed t/o could come with sweeteners for the c-suite but Kenny and the II's are looking at a substantial return on their investments, as am I. Fortunately my av sp is now 81p. When the current distractions are resolved and suitors return we could find that competition will accelerate the process. AIMHO GLA

Amazing value atm. Cash = 29% of MC. Zero debt. $ strengthening. Winding back of the USA IRA and refocus on carbon extraction. Geopolitical stress in some oil producing nations. At some point this sp should rerate dramatically. AIMHO GLA

@Garonne ever since Sir Stelios made (the quite recent) peace with the board I thought that there could be an ulterior motive. Price manipulation, who knows? I wouldnt be surprised if some M&A is announced here. With inflation returning, discretionary purchasers ie hols will feel pressure. Better to get on the front foot whilst the opportunity remains. Either way it looks as though there are reasons to be cheerful about EZJ. AIMHO GLA

@ Laura The peer analysis highlights the mar cap / revenue disconnect very clearly. At current sp WG could be an opportunistic buy for either a pe or HTG or FSJ?? Both HTG and FSJ being respected co's who could surely get the institutional support for such if needed whilst simultaneously listing in the US to get increased liquidity. Happy to be in WG / HTG and FSJ. AIMHO & GLA

Its a great trading stock.

BoD have good skin in the game so there is great motivation.

Add / trim / repeat has worked very well here and there might be further opportunities to come on this quality but volatile company. AIMHO & GLA

Sp builds new highs and then retraces +/-30%. has done this now 3 x since june '23. Hopefully now at the bottom of consolidation phase and looking 4ward to the next leg up. btw in good company today with poo and shell also down. AIMHO and GLA

#Gruyere, not quite right re strategy critique, although each to their own etc. I have also traded this over the last 18 mos and have added/trimmed/added several times. Am now holding a decent position and added again today. With todays stinker I am down but have an av sp of 96p. If we get back to 230p at some point this will have been a star result for me, in a company thats got quality (not some AIM punt, which admittedly I am also quite partial to). AIMHO and GLA

Looking for a bounce off the 200 day ma. Should the paucity of oil reserves begin to reverse as it surely will at some point, and the realisation that oil demand will continue to increase for the next 10 years (particularly India and China) the poo start to rise again and we could experience a dramatic and sudden sp move.

Agreed Chelmo. Fortunately I sold out 100% on 30/7 and have been buying back since 5/8 and have a larger holding now than previously. Thanks to good profit have a sub 100p av sp. Its a good company with a strong USP. They should hopefully succeed with or without a buyout. However I'm happy with either. With an eye on the managements continued personal investment in the company, this should hopefully continue to deliver opportunity for small PI's. GLA AIMHO

Sub 150 this looks like a good risk / reward opportunity and the prospects appear good and maybe we get another suitor?

IC also rated WG as a recovery buy on 20th Aug.

I would like to believe we are going to receive good news but if that is the case, why did two prospective partners walk?

I just spoke to my bank and they are saying its a glitch on the system and that the value being shown is incorrect.

An opportunity that keeps giving. For the 2nd time I've traded here and its worked well. I sold at 2.05 out last Tuesday and bought back in again today @1.23. Currently averaging £0.62.

WG are clearly a fickle would-be-partner but price fall today looks overdone and good value remains.

Gilmartin has real skin in the game at 1m @ an av sp of 1.45ish so he is going to want to push the price back up fast. Maybe we get to £3.00??
