Its difficult to interpret the sp as being held down. Apart from yesterday, when there was good news and vol ticked up a little to 9m shares traded, on the whole vol remains low to average and has been so for the last 4 weeks, indicating little activity on the part of mm. No indication of anyone building a stake. Cant see the sp moving much higher yet but happy if it does. imo

Good point Iceman, the steel company referred to lists its owned met coal resource being in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. Imagine that a US facility with good infrastructure would be quite a useful addition.

Luqs786 I share your interpretation of the AW interview. Shouldnt get too fixed on a specific sentence but AW did convey that a chapter was coming to an end......or maybe he is in for the long-haul and this is simply volume 1?? What ever its still a great company and AW and team have been excellent imo

On the fundamentals Bens is a good company, good geographic, good product and good leadership and an exciting place to be at the moment. Steel is not going away and neither will metcoal.

What an excellent leader AW is. Taking great ownership and personal responsibility for delivering on what he promised from the start. In agreement with posters arguing the strong long term value of BEN. Today was surely a great opp for getting in or adding IMHO / DYOR

I see this as excellent opportunity. Volume is so low. No concerted effort by smart money to exit. Maybe will drop further to 16p but doesnt detract from the fundamentals of the portfolio companies. DYOR GLA
