You are completely barking up the wrong tree with regards to Tjate. Commercially, it could never be a standalone operation. It has always been dependant on one of it's neighbour's (Twickenham or Marula) to be commercially exploited. This has been made clear by Jubilee on several occasions. You may have noticed that Anglo have an offer for the mothballed Bokoni mine. They only have Twickenham to sell in order to complete their restructuring and PGM asset disposals. They are believed to be working on a deal to sell Twickenham to an Asian entity and Tjate will hopefully be packaged with it. Packaging Tjate for sale with either Twickenham or Marula is the only current route for Jubilee to monetise Tjate.

Guys. You're barking up completely the wrong tree. Marlborough have been long term holders for ages. Their shareholding peaked about eighteen months ago and has reduced since then. This is not news.

No worries Jammer. It looks like there is major turmoil at the highest level of the Zambian copper mining structure, with a churn in the ownership of Tier 1 copper assets. Not only are their rumours that KCM will be put into liquidation by the government and then split into two and sold off, but Mopani will be bought back by the Zambian government from Glencore and then resold, as well as ERG putting Chambishi Metals onto care and maintenance. All of this whilst the copper price is where it is. With Jubilee working so closely with the Zambian ministry of mines, it looks like the perfect situation for Leon's deal making skill set.

You guys are behind the curve. It's not about Tjate. It's about what Leon can do with the proceeds from Tjate. Having been lucky enough to re-listen to Colin and Leon's AGM replacement video cast, be prepared for a further large asset purchase in Zambia, with the proceeds.

I agree with all of the potential news flow you list, however imo your expectations are way out of kilter on Tjate. The real deal will be for Twickenham and Marula which are mines with infrastructure. Tjate is in the right location, however its just three farms with some old drill holes at the moment. Yes, Tjate has a mining licence and an estimated resource, however that will not get it to anywhere near the value that you suggest. It would be great if Jubilee could achieve a tenth of that figure but more likely a twentieth imo. Which imo would be a fantastic result.

The PGM resources for the three properties are :
Twickenham, measured, indicated, inferred 348m t.
Marula, measured, indicated, inferred, 125.9m t (as of 2018).
Tjate, estimated resource 70m t.

It was only a couple of months ago that I was branded a liar for stating that Tjate was in play. How times have changed.

The key to a deal for Tjate is Twickenham and maybe also Marula. Twickenham has been on care and maintenance since 2016 although Anglo have been using it to experiment with mechanisation techniques which they have deployed elsewhere. Tjate as a standalone operation is unviable, hence Colin stating the Leon has 'packaged 'Tjate. Twickenham itself will not be re-instated by Anglo as they have said they are looking to dispose of it during the second half of this year, so not long left on their deadline. They also stated that they would only spend money on preparing a mine plan so as to assist with the sale. Anglo have confirmed that Twickenham needs a new concentrator which is knacked, as well as a full refurbishment, so there is $100's of millions of dollars to be spent on the mine. Hopefully Tjate will be packaged with the Twickenham sale presumably to a Chinese entity with very deep pockets. Lets see how it pans out.

I'm not here to fall out with you. We all know the facts, about Jubilee's processing capabilities and that is why I'am here, waiting for that to develop
If Jubilee can secure a cash influx from the sale of Tjate, Leon has said that he will use the cash to develop the Zambian processing assets even faster. Leon's words, not mine. IMO it is worth speculating on that as it is not priced in to the sp.

Lets see what happens over the next few months.

All theories are a massive stretch until they become obvious after the event.

The facts are that Amplat's Twickenham mine has been up for sale, and they are progressing a sale. There are only a handful of companies worldwide who have the cash and the skill set to get a resource the size of Twickenham operational again. The two company's in the article are two of those handful, although the purchaser may not necessarily be either of them. As the down dip of the resource, Tjate's future has always rested on the fate of either Amplat's Twickenham mine, or on the adjacent side, Implat's Marula mine. It has always been obvious that Tjate could not work as a standalone operation, so is reliant on the outcome of either of the adjacent properties.

With Amplats stating that they are hoping to conclude a sale of Twickenham in their second half of the year, it ain't that much of a stretch to suppose that Tjate could be included in any purchase of Twickenham or Marula (which is also up for sale). Indeed Amplats almost bought one of the Tjate farms from Jubilee about six years ago. Although just like the conclusion of that particular deal, it may fall through.

Lets see if Amplats can get a several hundred million dollar deal over the line for Twickenham, and if Jubilee can secure any crumbs from the table.

Great synopsis of the Jubilee investment case. The only thing I would add is that there is a deal being worked on for Amplat's giant Twickenham mine directly next door to Tjate. Amplats did state during their analysts question and answer session on the 17th Feb 2020 that they are hoping to conclude a deal on Twickenham in the second half of this year. There is every chance that any deal for Twickenham will also include Tjate. The Twickenham deal has been in progress since approx May 2019, so hopefully that will be concluded this year, if not early next year, which would hopefully give Jubilee an additional boost to the projects you have mentioned. Although there is always the chance that the deal might fail.

Have to admit that I'am disappointed that no news has been forthcoming on the commercialisation of the PGM's at DCM, as Leon did state that he was hoping to conclude the permissions several months ago. Hopefully not to long to wait on that front.

Well said Happy. This has fair value of 11p now, and 25p within the next 12 months imo. Yesterdays announcement is way more important than the market has given credit for imo.

Anyway, great news from Jubilee this morning. As the deal is already live and in production it should feed into Jubilees's financials immediately.

I don't understand the last few posts, however if that is the standard of debate to which you guys aspire, then I rest my case, and I'll revert to being a lurker.

I'm sure Jubilee will come good financially for us all before the end of the calendar year, which is the main point in all this.

The only reason I look into this particular bb is to listen to a few posters including your contributions.

I would not be happy putting 100% of my thesis on a public bb for a couple of different reasons, including circles being completed and sources compromised even though 99% of the info is freely available.

I agree that one needs to be wary of false claims and ridiculous assertions, however their is also a degree of naivety in thinking that months of research can be blurted out on an open bb

I would be happy to put out bits and pieces for people to do their own research and develop their own conclusions, which may be contrary to mine. I welcome any informed argument , discussion and feedback on information provided, however the lowest possible denominator usually predominates. Usually in the form of worthless one liner put downs, by ignorant contributors.

There is no single magic bullet to the theory, however there are a number of different strings and back links which provide a degree of triangulation to the theory that Tjate will be bought by a large Far Eastern entity. Based on this info there is a balance of probability that this will happen this calender year, however Jubilee is a small company and the Tjate sale will be going to a state backed mining organisation in conjunction with the sale of another massive PGM resource close by in SA, so the timing will never be within Jubilee's control and could be extended.

I'm not here to make friends or influence people. I'm here to make money, however a degree of cooperation is valuable , even within the limits of a public forum, for mutual profit.
