chris, I'm a lurker here. Love the science behind CIZ, but the idea in this game is to make money. I'll keep my powder dry until there is a confidence that the company is capable of commercialising it's science. At the moment it's just a bunch of nutty professors.

Well Northern. My hunch, is a merger between Jubilee and Sylvania which would create a very strong base for the South African business. The Sylvania tech has fallen behind the times and the Jubilee way, with it's centralised refinery fed by localised concentrators appears to produce better margins. Combined with the Jubilee's fine chrome process spread across Sylvania's projects would provide excellent growth for a combined SA business. PGM tailing's are a very tight space in SA and the two companies are tripping over each other in their quest to acquire more dumps there.

Sylvania has some dormant mining assets which could be packaged with Tjate, hived off from the combined processing business, and floated as a separate exploration play listing, bringing in a nice wad of cash.

With the combined JLP/SLP cash flow and the cash that SLP have in their coffers, global expansion would be possible. Some years ago, I understand Jubilee looked at the old Vedanta dump assets in OZ via Copper Mines of Tasmania (CMT) which were subsequently taken on by way of an option agreement with New Century Resources. I also understand that Jubilee have studied a couple of assets in Chile as well as the deal we have in Cyprus and the recently mentioned (WH Ireland broker note) prospect of going into the DRC.

Opportunities abound. No wonder Jubilee are setting up a dedicated committee, to formulate the global growth plan and seeking a new chairman to help drive the process.

I'm beginning to sound like Mikie. Just Christmas musings. Lets hope 2022 is our year.

I'll take Leon's side and bet that he's got the strategy right for Jubilee as per this mornings announcement. I have a theory as to the next prospective deal but it freak a few out on here.

Excellent posts, which sums up the situation perfectly. This is the most profound announcement is Jubilee's history and will lead to a different magnitude of growth. Going forward Jubilee will be a different beast. The name and CV of the new chairman will help give the market an understanding of Jubilee's growth trajectory.

No one has been more critical of Jubilee's reporting than me (directly to Colin and Leon), however I really like this latest RNS. I have come to understand that all of Leon's RNS statements need unpacking. There is a repeated emphasis on the future development on the Eastern limb, which imo will come quite soon and be much bigger than they are given credit for at the moment.

Zambian operations seem to be close to achieving commercial scale which also bodes well.

imo the real key here is regular news flow, from the directors. It's not good enough to sub out the newsflow to Hardman. We need some real conviction announcements and newsflow from the directors.
Had 3 x 20 baggers, 3 x 10 baggers, in my investment career and the worst a one £1m loss. Hoping for great things from TRX., but the directors need to pull their finger out re newsflow.

From September 8th this year. I missed it if it was previously posted. A buy re-iteration from Stifel the house broker which would not be unusual, however their reasoning is interesting. TRX is now at an even greater discount to its peers.

Hi YP, I don't care what anybody says, I'm gonna get to 10m. Chris Mills does not take a 11.28% stake in a company for no reason. My view is that a consolidation followed by NASDAQ listing, will lead to a different rating. In the meantime we need some proper news flow and PR from TRX. The occasional Hardman press release is not good enough, and so old fashioned. New product additions, social media etc, come on TRX, get with it. Think I'll speak to the CEO and give him a heads up.

Mikie, JLP is a different beast these days. With the support they have from II's who's interests it is to maintain the status quo, it will be a big ask to get Leon to change the reporting and communication culture. But worth another try.

I whole heartedly agree with your suggestion of raising shareholder communication issue with the directors at the AGM. However this has been done at previous AGM's and has been brushed aside by both Colin and Leon, or false promises have been made. It will take a concerted effort to change their modus operandi.

In addition to all of the other potential newsflow, I reckon it's a dead cert that Jubilee and Sylvania will merge in the the short to medium term. They are tripping over each other in SA in their attempts to secure PGM dumps. It's a very tight space, but Jubilee are winning out because of their fine chrome technology, and the ability to give the host mine some of the PGM off take.

Furthermore a merged entity could strip out duplicated management, and Jubilee's fine chrome tech would be utilised across all Sylvania's sites. Thereby Samancor would benefit from increased chrome off take, so it would be very much in their interests.

It's a no brainer imo.

Mikie, It's a theory. Lets hope it is correct. Presumably the purchase of surface feedstock by Eland will continue until they get their own mine operational.

Homey, A couple of your assertions are incorrect. The main one being that the jv stockpile was one million tonnes. That was just one of the Hernic dumps which Jubilee purchased which was nearest to the Eland facility.
Also the very difficulty that you highlight with Eland having to scratch around for feedstock is the reason they have been buying surface material at the market price, now that the jv has ended, in order to maintain production at Eland.

This has to be Jubilee supplying the Eland mine at full market prices since the termination of the JV imo. On top of the expanded Inyoni production this should provide a decent boost to Jubilee's figures. I'm digging around at the moment, attempting to find the current Eland mine production figures.

Fishysaurus. That is exactly the situation with regards to reporting.

Reporting and newsflow has always been Jubilee's achilles heel. It is raised at every AGM, and each time Colin and Leon fend off any such requests for improved PR/newsflow/quarterly reporting.

I can understand that they are sometimes limited by confidentiality agreements with tailings owners, however that does not prevent them reporting quarterly.

Attempting to cut Leon some slack, imo they do operate in a very competitive, murky and tight space both in SA and Zambia and Leon tries to maintain a competitive advantage by keeping most deals either vague or completely under wraps. It's a dirty business, in more ways than one. It was possible to have vague reporting when JLP was a small operator but it does not wash with PI investors when operating on this scale imo.

The II holders such as Slater will get their quarterly management reports from Jubilee so they will be happy with what they see. However very frustrating for the rest of us.
